I guess it will be a while before they start revealing the HS2 benefit. Keep a bit back for contingencies...But the subbies are rinsing it which is another good metric!

The way HS2 is they've probably already made their original margin on it. And if it was cancelled there's a big pay off threre as well.

I generally agree.
The one thing I would say is that the share consolidation tweaked the price yes, but 300 is still possible as a return to the previous pre-covid market cap which was 3 years ago. There is a lot of historic posts on here going around that buoy, as at the time the platforms all ran back plotted graphs showing previous back-extrapolated prices of £10 plus which the rampfest seized upon. etc etc.
They do have a history of using equity to raise or pay for stuff, but overall I'm still positive. GL

"While many companies issue trading updates pre or post year end, they are not a regulatory requirement, and it is left to the company whether they wish to update the market.

Our next scheduled announcement is our full year results on 14 March 2023, and should we issue any update to the market prior to then, it will be on the stock exchange RNS system and on our website."

I think from memory though that the £90m is based on the rule of thumb 5-6 x GP as the usual rough guide.
I doubt it would be that under the circumstances.

The one in December last year was prompted by the P and H bad news, it isn't regular as far as I know? Could be wrong obvs.

What isn't on there is when he got the top job, the other candidate left the business. He is a QS. The other was an engineer. Key staff liked the other fella, and the fact that engineering companies are best run by engineers. So a few have left who probably we would still like to be there. But it is what it is now. The numbers will tell. Price would be higher if he wasn't here but lets see what the new Chairman can do it.
Personally i'm patient and will keep buying at this level. The thing that irks me is the terms of reference for his LTIP, but hey, it doesn't seem to bother the institutional investors who nod it through every year so there you go.

Well, here's the thing.... On the day of the RNS I was at Spa Francorchamps watching Practice....Completely missed the news lol. (A drink or several , 'may', have been taken.....). Just came by to see my battered portfolio and thought it was a mistake!
