I first bought this around 36p. SO did a lot of others. At a much higher level than me. That's how it works. Read the RNS look at the charts and look forward to Full Year.

I invested here 2 years ago. First lockdown. Opportunity to sort my savings out. Covid? It will be like the financial crash- saved my legs being broken. On the hunt for covid plays, or covid/recovery plays even better. Covid? Blah blah -1 year it will be all normal.SO SAGA had been smashed down by 2 years of losses, on goodwill, and then by covid. Take away the goodwill problem as it has to go at some point, put the ships to work. Looks good that. So I'm in. A bit too soon. Got in a little more than ideal but it came back. End of Covid, start again, Yr3 all good.
But then Covid wasn't 1 year. And as soon as we're nearly there with that, there are cancelled cruises and Ukraine. So as we sit here now my 3 years to be great is still 3 years to be great. No doubts there.
All the noise re the Board is pish. Euan came in on the working through of the loss and then he's had 2 years of ***te. What should he have done? Turn the business into an Arms manufacturer? Keyboard warriors, lower share price than they like=board are rubbish LOL.
And the great 'Offer' we had which was turned down? Everyone forgets to also mention the fact it was subject to due diligence. SO the price initially offered wouldn't have been the price ultimately offered, at least not if those boys were any good at all. More BS.
The Jan update was made before the war had kicked off. We are where we are and it is affecting all sorts of travel. I know that a lot of people have even cancelled such run of the mill stuff as Le Mans because of it, so there is an overall effect even a small %age. Don't worry boys-the world would be gone long before they got to the Rhine never mind the Sarthe! May as well have a pint of Guinness and a party.
The original investment case is still there IMHO. Its just timing. Not much out there making sharp gains atm. Profit being taken sharply. I did chuckle at 6-12 months being mid to long term! If you want the ultimate multiple that you may get here in 12 months then you are into binary outcome pharma/oily/tech aren't you? =casino.
Good to see some new names on here though. Keep the challenges going!

I get the pain. I do. But if I genuinely believed that a stock I was invested in was going to go then I'd sell out and/or go short.
If you're still in then you presumably believe there's at least some possibility of it clawing back some of those losses?

You look like you have caught a few falling knives there a little too early. So have I , so has SPY I think. But I have made money on COST twice before (nearly 3 actually if I had bought when Stuart Doughty rode into town many years ago...) ....
and I will do so again by sitting tight. Your particular problem appears to be here that you heard about turnover but not the historical issues which had already occurred by then, and thought the price would just skip back up, like that day with CINE in March 2020? Construction isn't like that. Its not like a binary play pharma in a pandemic.You were never gonna 10 bag in a construction company.
So you need 81p to get out even? I think you'll get it.
As for your issues with Rolls' SMR -Costain aren't in the consortium as far as I can see? The Civils are covered by LOR and Bam. So no need to keep bringing that up. I've got a couple worse than -33% Metom believe me, but they will come around just bad timing.

He's cute enough where it comes to his own pay and rations-his LTIP is now based solely on adjusted EPS (which is a movable feast set at a very low level) rather than share price as it used to be....

Whilst generally agreeing there's a lot of risk because ii s adjusting and the previous raise envisaging a different set of circumstances to those now faced, talk of 12p is not correct. Maybe the Market cap represented at the time of 12p (if that's what it was I was in and out in the high teens so maybe), but the same MC wont now be 12p because of the consolidation. And that MC was based on the whole world shutting down.
