As I pointed out yesterday…. For the Resolutions to be thrown out there only needs to be 25% of the votes cast as NO. If only 60% of all shares are used in the vote then he is already nearly there. Don’t forget he has some shares in his own name and more with David Nugent Holdings Ltd. If Mr English is alongside him then I think they have enough. Gino and Russ must be wetting themselves over how they’ve been out manoeuvred by a handful of pis. Wonderful

If he has 20% and the Resolutions are passed then that would mean almost every voting right was used and that would frankly be almost unheard of in the history of the entire LSE. Either way I hope those massive trades were DN buying and that he could get his votes away in time. Doubtless the BOD and Peel Hunt will try to find some reason to disallow them if they were near the deadline and made the difference to their lifestyle coming to a rapid conclusion

He only needs 25% of the votes cast and if he has 25% of the total shares in issue then he’ll already know the BODs can’t win this. If Peel Hunt try to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes by declaring the Resolutions were passed and he knows that can’t be true then the FCa can be called in and this bunch of dodgy dudes can be expelled instantly.

I think there’s another large buy or two going to show up later so would not be surprised to see another leap up this afternoon

Delayed but of £48k just printed. That’s what caused the sudden rise. I think it’s you-know-who getting himself up to the 25% mark to guarantee the rinsing of pis is stopped. Makes sense that Peel Hunt forced him to pay significantly more than the current share price at that time. I think he’s up to nearly 20% now so with Mr English and a few other notable holders eg Amers this is going to be a huge success for ordinary share holders- and by that I mean those who have been invested here long term, not the day traders who threw money in here the second the last placing was completed

Executioner anyone can hold on to their shares and wait for true value to be realised by a new BODs. You will never see that with Gino and Russ in charge. If there’s an offer now of 1p to get the company in the right hands then your chances of seeing a professional BODs turn this around are going to be far greater than it being used to fund the current directors lifestyles

On news of a deal this will rip up to at least 30p imo

My broker reckons it’s a TO bid or leaked NHS/NICE news. He’s also said it’s highly dubious that the Board are wanting to rush this through and resorted to public mud slinging. I won’t repeat the expression he had for them but he’s always been anti GDR since the removal of Cheek.

He said if it was Alley clients buying up shares last minute then Peel Hunt would be letting them have them either at the prevailing price or even lower, not by making them pay double from this morning. Either way he says it’s a strong move that’s forced the mms to act drastically . A bid at 1p ? If it was DN why would that be bad news? Accept it and have the company then run by someone whose interests are aligned with those of ordinary pis.

Vote yes and you’ll lose eventually anyway and reward the Directors handsomely for bending you over repeatedly. Vote no and you’ll get change which gives you at least a fighting chance and to be treated with more respect than hitherto has been the case

I’m excited and terrified in equal measure as to what might be going on but something is most definitely now happening that is going to piece very significant for ordinary pis. Either we have a chance to invest more going gutters knowing we have a Board we can trust or it’s the beginning of the end. Gino and Russ are clearly utterly fcuked off with pis interfering with their plans

If NHS/NICE release news now that would explain why the directors wanted to get this second placing done so urgently, assuming they had some inkling of when news would land, although they said in an RNS they were not aware of any time lines. The again, Gino said back in May to a room full of investors it was ‘any day now’ so who knows what to believe?

Maybe the NHS/NICE have decided not to delay their new any longer in light of what is happening at GdR and just want to get some good news out there. I would love it, just love it if the share price goes through the roof on good news and the resolutions are rejected.

That would provide enough evidence for me to be 100% convinced the Directors deliberately desreoyed the sp to buy more themselves and get control of voting rights so they can do whatever they like with the company. anything can happen though

No Gloria, the volume is through the roof. Something is afoot. Either Allenby clients are panicking and buying as many as possible or maybe it’s DN having waited until the last possible minute to up his holding. Might we even see another TR1 by the end of the day?

Someone somewhere I think knows the outcome of the vote. Is this Peel Hunt pushing the Bid up now to allow Allenby clients to jettison their 400m shares at a profit knowing they’re not going to get their hands on another billion cheap shares? Appalling amount of manipulation and lack of clarity on AIM allows pis to be done over time and again.

Anything is possible though and I’m just hoping someone is now buying cheap shares because they know the stupid and massive dilution will not go ahead and the company is going to be forced to allow DN on the Board and help turn things around in pis favour… for the first time ever in GDR…

Agree 100% Amers. AND there could be good news in a matter of weeks which could propel the share price north and simply result in another placing but at far less of a discount than what these bozos are proposing for their ii mates.
