RE: Long wait for Covid test17 Jul 2021 12:08
Ah apologies, I was confused then. Thanks for the reasoned answers and info 1dR and Starresnstoff.
Jace, I’m sceptical regarding DB’s abilities here too but heavily invested and so am looking for some positives. Your constant negative messaging which ignores anything even vaguely positive or indeed any potential isn’t so helpful.
It’s been highlighted on here by many, myself included, that DB has missed deadlines, been silent for far too long etc and that the recent RNS was an awful kick in the proverbials to existing shareholders - why is he so keen to protect new and potential investors but perfectly happy to see holders who have been loyal over any given period of time watch a huge % of their paper profit disappear? It’s weird and unfair for sure and made my blood boil at the time but I’m trying to do my own research and find signs of improvement going forward. There are some good signs, and it would be great if DB could shout just a little louder about these rather than focusing in his rare comms on what GDR has failed to do and providing good reasons as to why people perhaps shouldn’t invest at the moment and quash expectations.
Everything in life requires a balance imho. I’ve been hugely frustrated and disappointed here but I’ve got to keep reminding myself of the good products GDR has and that helping them bring these to the global market (by supporting it with investment) will ultimately help save and change lives for the better. That’s the balance I’m trying to find and live with convening my investment here.
The next three months will be make or break for GDR as I think being seen to completely miss The Covid boat with the lab and PoC tests will dent confidence further in DB’s abilities as CEO.
Honestly? I’d accept a buy out figure of £1.85 right now, even though there is more potential than that were everything to fall into place over the next few months but i firmly believe GDR’s products will do better if owned by one of the bigger outfits out there eg BC or Danahar. They will have some clout in getting products moved up the waiting lists. DB on his own has little or none sadly. Perhaps that’s why the agreement with BC was seen as a positive but thus far it has not done us any favours other than cause the huge surge in the sp which attracted many new investors such as myself. DB seemed happy enough to let that surge go on and on, why not the recent one? As I say, very odd!
