..is to see JORC figures for MT + Flanks, as well as the JV areas ,and be told categorically that this is being sold too. If estimates have all been conservative thus far then we may well be pleasantly surprised by the forthcoming announcement. I want to keep my own feet on the ground though as I've got over excited before as we've received positive news only to witness another decline in the sp. Surely this time though, if the figures are even roughly in line with what we have been told is in the ground, the sp has to re-rate.

If the recent placing could also cover the cost of buying out the remaining 20% of Mt we don't own then that would be even sweeter news. 40moz for Mt + Flanks together with 100% of NYUD + other areas at 20m oz should fetch a pretty price. Personally hoping once this info is out the big players will twitch and make their moves and a full on bidding war ensues resulting in a complete buyout. I'd be even happier if whilst that was being fought out the sp at least doubled. Not asking for much is it??

Given the appalling track record of GDR's BODs in handling their own business I'd be amazed if the OO is fully subscribed, let alone over subscribed. I think it could be a disaster and agree there might be as little as 25 or 30% take up. After that there would have be to be a follow up placing as low as even 10p in order to just try and keep the lights on. Hope I'm wrong but I now think DB has blown it for GDR. Just got to hope it does the opposite of what I feel is likely to happen otherwise I've written this off altogether. Big loss and big lesson learned. I visit my punchbag every time I recall DB saying those words " the numbers add up dramatically...". Well, they didn't and aren't ever likely to with him in charge and a CEO who is clearly perfectly at ease shafting his won share holder base. He was 100% wrong and so doesn't inspire any confidence in me now. Very disappointed that he takes such a large salary from a small company and can only imagine he's desperately unpopular with his own employees who may have been duped into buying shares in their own company.

Will look back in another couple of weeks but for now it's just easier to look away and try to pretend it never happened.

EUA can only purchase that license once JORC figures are done so that's next imo. Once those are published - and are hopefully good - an RNS announcing purchase of NYUD will be out. With luck the JORC figures are actually better than expected and the recent raise was indeed to acquire 100% of NYUD. That will well and truly set the cat among the proverbial pigeons.

I'm doing the same when possible ie buying on the open market at 25p as my average is 75p. Makes me cringe to think I barely took anything off the table when we were flying high but again, like you, lesson learned. I really don't think DB and other Directors would be willing to just throw money out of the window by buying into this placing, even if only relatively small amounts for them. I now daren't put too much more in just in case it really goes t.ts up from here but I can't believe DB and the BODs have got themselves into such terrible trouble that they haven't got a half decent back up plan... Or is that wishful thinking? Back to anything like 50p by Christmas and I'll be out like a shot and bear the losses (and scars).

We've been through worse times and it appears we just have to get over this one last hurdle ie get the placing out of the way, Thing is, if we need this money in order to pay for a license that now covers greater resources than expected, but the sp is lower than the placing figure, then presumably the US ii will not take up the option immediately, or at least not until the sp is either level or above 26p. If the BOD find themselves short of cash and can't buy the license how can we move forward? No one knows how much the license will cost, nor exactly when it will land. We know there's a period of 140 working days from application so we are nearly at the end of that, which means it's imminent, but what if the sp doesn't go above 26p by then? This means the BOD have to release another RNS which will give a significant boost to the sp in the next few days or they won't be handed that extra $15m which they need for something pretty urgently. I'm tired of these guessing games. Want to see a major step forward by the end of this month. Unfortunately I think today is going to be another difficult one as it's the last opportunity the mms have (and the likes of BR) to shake the tree/get hold of cheaper shares. Let's get it out of the way, clear the hurdle then move forward. I just hope we don't fall too much further today or else I can imagine many will jump ship only to regret it in another week or two.

I wish I had held off buying another tranche today with my 'trading pot'. I've been lucky with EUA but today it really went against the flow and more than ever it appears there's some skulduggery going on. The inaccuracy in reporting trades is well documented and on AIM even to be expected but today was tough and I confess to wincing seeing it dropped again sharply for the 3rd consecutive session.

I'm not going to shout down the person claiming it will be 14p because I witnessed many posts over the last two years suggesting 'oh no, it won't go below the placing level of 26p', then later the same posts for 22p, only to see it fall all the way down to 15p. People were derided for suggesting it, but it happened. I'm afraid the mms seem to have such huge offers from buyers/sellers at the lower levels that that's where we're heading until one of these much heralded RNSs finally lands on deck. The mms don't care whether the sp is high or low. They will just manipulate it to where ever there is a huge order, regardless of it being a buy or sell. The one comfort for lth is that we've been here and experienced all this before. One day soon an RNS will land that will see EUA fly. It's gutting though to know that the same forces manipulating the share to buggery at the moment will most likely be the first to be given the nod that big news is on the way and allow them to position themselves comfortably for which ever direction we are heading. It's AIM. Sh..te happens. If you believe the implied messages released in many, many RNSs over the last couple of years then just hold out. If this does drop further I sadly won't be able to benefit any more as I have a load of shares tied up in an absolute dog which I can't sell in anything bigger than chunks of £500 a day! That dog btw is EUZ. Steer clear. Nothing more to buy with now. Just gotta sit tight.

Yes, my Spanish is pretty reasonable, hence I've long had an interest in EUZ in this particular area in Spain. Quite some time ago however that interest turned to disdain as it became clear to me LR and cohorts don't have the ability to make anything decent happen for EUZ. They will take their monthly salaries for as long as they possibly can, whilst saying as much as they can to give false hope, whilst actually doing as little as they can, and then with no warning someone else will swoop in and nab EUZ and all of its potential from our grasp, or it will simply go bust. I have no hope here so it's now a case of morbid curiosity as to why I drop in once in a while as I continue to sell my holding. Over all my loss will be well over £50k once I've got rid of all my shares but I've written it off a long time ago and mercifully made that up (and more) with EUA. I don't wish to see anyone else get stung here though, hence why I'm clearly encouraging people to steer well clear. It's a life style company and will never see any serious progress made under the leadership - hardly an appropriate term - of LR.

Thats what I'm still hoping for F-J-H. I don't want to have to make the choice of selling out before a special divi arrives because paying Income tax on that rather than the standard rate of CGT will make a huge difference. I know there are some who would prefer the longer route to ultimately make more profit but, speaking personally and rather selfishly, I might not be around that much longer and I would like to share out any profits made here sooner rather than later. Can't leave it 'in Trust', as it were, as I know money tends to bring out the worst in people and I'd hate to think my nearest and dearest could fall out over how this gift will be shared out. One massive final offer from someone will have the BODs shaking hands on a deal and patting each other on the back with a 'job well done' smile on their faces. Hoping so anyway.

For now though it would just be nice to see some blue. I have added today two or three times so I may have cursed us today (sorry folks) but hopefully soon this will, once and for all, really rocket and never look back.

Would anyone complain if an RNS landed on Friday morning, just one day after the recent placing is secured, that gave us some majorly positive news? Yes, it would imply there’s been some collusion of sorts but we all know it goes on everywhere on AIM stocks. As long as our investment pots get back into blue territory would anyone mind? I certainly wouldn’t. I’d be delighted if that recent placing meant the whole shebang could be moved on more quickly, especially if it meant the sp doubling over night. Bring it on.

Even more infuriating that ACF were in on the play. Making lots of noise about having to already revise the figures they estimated only a week or so ago but now gone silent. Would a new validation from them make any difference anyway? Hmmm not sure.

Like it or not we are now a lot closer to 15p again than the recent highs of 36.5p. It’s infuriating to witness the blatant manipulation going on btwn mms, iis and even our own BOD. They all know exactly what they’re doing and by and large the pis are probably afforded little consideration.

However, these iis are not jumping on board simply to short the stock or make a few quid on a rise or drop of a few pence. They are here and putting money in for significant gains and I absolutely believe they are given far more accurate information by our BOD than we will ever benefit from.

So, the game would suggest at some point this will end up far higher than 26p and in the mean time investors just have to hold on to their shares and try to ignore the games being played by somewhat dubious market forces.

We need one, just one RNS to leave the 20’s, 30’s and even the 40’s behind for good: the JORC figures for either MT and Flanks or the first batch of JV areas, incl NYUD. Imo this is up next, swiftly followed by news of the license transfer. At this point the sp will surge big time and we’ll be witnessing different games being fought out between the big players.

Hold. Hold. Hold. It will come but the most frustrating part atm is having to wait, not knowing if news is due in days, weeks or months. My own view is that the JORC figures will come at the end of Sept and license transfer early Oct. Regardless of progress on an asset sale those two RNSs should take us well towards 50p.

Certainly hope so Caw. I see your’s as a voice of reason and so take heart from the fact you’re still positive. I bought 6 lots of 49,999 shares today so don’t want to see this drop further but the level of peculiar twists and turns in the sp inevitably undermine confidence a little.
I like the notion of this raise acting as a release for the next wave of news releases. Not many people talking today about ACF and the imminent update on their valuation - short memories? - but that should also hopefully help reverse the sp direction.

Having mentioned the recent placing price of 26.5p in an RNS specifically aimed at boosting the sp I got the distinct impression the BOD might have been under a little pressure from the US ii who put that $20m into the kitty to do something to improve the look on their investment. I wold be surprised if the BOD aren't thinking of releasing more positive RNSs sharpish to try and keep the sp above that figure.

Anyway, another positive RNS yesterday which saw over 10% wiped off the value of EUA. I know the old adage sell on news but that seems ridiculous when there is more seriously good news on the way. My personal view is that the JORC figures will be next as the NYUD license I thought couldn't be granted without that update. Just an opinion.

Disappointing to see yet the sp decline quite so soon after the recent correction but this will quickly reverse the moment we get a whiff of JORC figures and transfer of NYUD license. All to play for and I don't feel I can risk selling any now.

OK so we need to wait a bit longer for news. Many here have 'been there and done that', so to speak, with EUA. Yes the RNS only said they would have their 5yr mining plan completed within two weeks but nothing about letting pis know what's in it of course. We still don't know what's being sold, to whom, for how much or when.

Just gotta dig deep and keep holding. Had a shocker recently with GDR. Totally inept and decidedly dodgy CEO and dubious BOD (that's putting it mildly ) who have absolutely shafted share holders, so I'm looking forward to DS and co showing them how it should all be done.

Hopefully the first thing we will actually have released in an RNS will be the transfer of the NYUD license. Next the updated JORC resource figures. IMV logically the next thing would be to see the 5 yr mining plan and then finally the coup de grâce - announcement of an asset sale or better still an announcement saying so and so has offered £xb to buy the whole company but we're now in receipt of a counter offer. GMF78 would finally have his bidding war. Anything along those lines and we're going to be able to justly pat ourselves on the back for being patient. I've only been in nearly 3 yrs now but it feels like eternity. Lord only knows how the BOD themselves feel or indeed lths from decades ago. Hopefully the wait will be worth it, and some.

I think you may well be right Trickym. Having calmed down and not rushed into anything - I've made huge errors by doing that before now on other stocks - I am of the opinion that this current situation would be such a massive admission of failure on DB's part that it would be extremely damaging to his long term career ie no would ever trust him in a position of responsibility again. This stinks, yes, and I don't like it one little bit but...has DB been leant on by someone to allow the sp to decline to the extent it has so he can then let in a certain party at incredibly cheap rates, knowing full well he has AIHL about to take off and also possible FDA approval in October. This scenario would go some way to explaining why DB was quite so keen to nip that recent sudden surge in the Budd when India approvals landed. that wasn't part of the plan. This may be some weeks off so as to not make it too obvious to the powers that be what has gone down here, but it does border on the illegal as far as I can tell. Probably impossible to prove anything.

Anyway, I will see if I can now shuffle some profits over from EUA to here to buy at 25p but you can bet your bottom dollar it's going to be difficult for pis to get their hands on shares at 25p.

More patience required but when investing in high risk stocks like GDR you need to wait and wait and then pounce on the opportunity to take profit when it finally arrives. This is advice to myself of course and no one else as I am a nonentity in terms of investing prowess! I still think this might work out well as I'm not sure many iis will be able to resist that discount, especially as they will know what's in the cupboard itching to be let out.

GLA and I'm deeply sorry for others who, like myself, bought in here at £1.50. This represents a fall of over 80% in 6 months. Thats' quite a special performance Mr Budd. Give yourself a well earned pat on the back and look forward to that huge bonus coming your way. Hmmm The rest of us will just have to try and plot a way out of this dodgy situation.

..disaster. Really didn't think DB could be this bad but my worst fears have been realised. Have to put this away now in the bottom drawer until I can slowly try to recover the losses.

Hope DB isn't expecting support from share holders come the AGM. He must know the writing is on the wall.
