RE: No news22 Aug 2021 10:06
Key for me is the NYUD license. If that is announced but there is nothing in addition to or alongside it regarding an asset sale then I think it's off and we'll be heading forward to mine alone and this becomes a very much longer term investment, much to the chagrin of all those who jumped on board having been led to believe a sale of some sorts was on the cards by the BOD more than two years ago.
If there is anything like the amount of resources in the ground we've been told thus far then this will be worth far more in 5 years time. There will be an awful lot of funding needed to get us to that point and that would impact on the sp even further but only short term. Basically, if you can hold then I think the return is going to be far greater than the short term option of an asset sale.
However, having said all that, I get the feeling DS and co don't want to dig in ('scuse the pun) for the long haul and do this all alone. They need to kick start things somehow and deliver value for share holders short term and long term and that means getting some kind of a sale over the line in the next month or two, take their personal rewards along with the rest of us, and then develop all the other JV areas gradually, knowing they will have a significant amount of money in the kitty from the initial sell off of MT and NYUD. Bloody well hope that's what's on the cards anyway as I am not looking forward to this or the next few weeks without news (and I don't mean proper news, not hints in the form of the occasional re-tweet from DS or a photo from EUA of one their JV areas). It seems that with another week of silence from the BOD we are set up very much in favour of the iis and shorters to take the sp lower. Patience and now some courage to hold is required. Or if you prefer...nappies!
