So back in Sept updated JORCs were promised and thus far - 4 months later - we've had just one for NKT. That was limited - although 305k tons of Nickel is clearly worth a lot going on TESLA's recent purchase from TALON Metals for a quarter of that amount - but on Dec 16th it was stated in an RNS that an updated JORC for NYUD (and other areas) would be released separately. After 'shortly' and 'almost complete' in September this is now well overdue. WA were engaged in April so are now 9 months into their work. Think it was pretty much agreed on here that generally work for JORC updates takes around 6 months. We're well over that. Are Wardell Armstrong struggling to get the work done? Have they run into problems and can't provide the necessary information? Could it be the figures are nothing like as promising as Dimitry Suschov had hoped? Are the figures much higher than anyone expected and allowing the BOD to negotiate harder for a larger purchase sum? Do the figures make it non-sensical to go it alone together with Rosgeo and have numerous off-take agreements in place with various consortiums eg from Japan? Whilst we wait all these ponderables will gently erode confidence in the sp if information on the way forward is not forthcoming. The sp is being held within yet another trading range. This has happened for nearly over a year now, or since we got over the crazy surge that drove the sp up to 43p in Dec 2020. Despite numerous positive RNSs there is absolutely no way of telling which way the sp is going to go next. Back to 21 - 23p or up to 25 - 27p for a couple of months. I can understand lths' impatience but at the moment from what we do know I'd say this is as exciting a position as EUA has been in ever.

My guess - and that's all anyone can do here given the paucity of clarity we receive in RNSs - is that the BOD are lining things up but that everything is taking longer than pis would like. It's a long term investment this but given the kind of resources EUA owns and the rapidly increasing demand for them my opinion is this is a great stock to be in. Something will land soon, possibly not the asset sale we all want to hear about, but something that will make the sp fly. Even if that's only for a week or two it will give all holders a golden opportunity to re-evaluate their positions and shift to a more comfortable balance in portfolios such that they can relax holding EUS shares even if the outcome is another year or two down the line. 'Shortly' obviously didn't mean anything and I'm a bit peeved that the term was used in an RNS. If you're going to use it then make sure you mean it.

'Shortly' is now over and I for one would really appreciate knowing more of what is in the pipeline and being in the receiving end of some serious updates. An updated JORC for Mt+ Flanks and one for NYUD too along with the license transfer would be a great start. Shall we say end of the week?? Thanks Dimitry. Asset sale info can wait until next week then.

Nah, perhaps not another day with a 10%drop but definitely a red day. As we approach 18p I think the slump will slow up as investors realise GDR is at that price worth a small punt.
25p was the last placing price so iis who came on board at that level are going to be fairly unimpressed, unless of course they managed to get their shares away during the pump and dump, which will have been easily doable.

beechknot: are you looking at the same share as me?? You're talking rubbish. 28p by end of today and yep, this looks like back to 25p sooner than I'd thought. I wonder what employees at GDR who have invested in their own company think of Budd's performance. Perhaps Jace is one and that's why he's so mad about the way things are going? Just a thought. Budd must cower in the doorways of GDR's offices waiting for the corridors to be empty before scurrying to his office (or the loo..).

In my opinion I don't think there will be any RNSs before the very end of this month and that's if we're very lucky. More like mid March for UK approvals if we submitted mid December. We have been told to expect delays and, like it or not, the urgency for any testing equipment has almost vanished over night here in the UK. Heathrow demanding all testing now been abandoned for travellers. Crazy but money talks and the Govt is too terrified of any more lasting damage to the economy.

GDR are sadly too late to this party (again) and putting out invitations for interested parties only now and in small tweets just smacks of desperation and an all too familiar amateurish level of marketing/sales. Oh dear.

By end of Feb I think we'll be back to 18p or there abouts and then it's a case of waiting for something on AIHL which will hopefully get us back to the 30p level. All a bit forlorn. Hate to admit it but Jace was right all along.

But is that 143k tons of nickel just for Mt+ Flanks or altogether? Frustratingly we still don't know what might be up for sale so it's still all guesswork. Exciting to think how much value there must be though even in just Mt if that's what the nickel alone is worth.

Please, please, please come on BOD and let us know what is happening and specifically what to expect.

Anyone else think a purchase price could be decreased by awarding the major holders a huge slice of EUA2 going forward rather than paying the full sum for an asset sale? I'm hoping DS and other Directors want to see a 'significant' financial reward now for the work they've put in thus far.

Asset sale $5b and, after fees and taking into account EUA owns 80% of what may be sold a special divi of 60p (notice my estimate has crept up since other sales of similar resources have been announced) could be in the off'ing? Think the sp would re-rate to about 75p and we'd witness quite a sell off as I'm sure there must be others like me who would prefer not to incur the cgt on any dividend. I have some of my holding in an ISA but the vast majority is in my funds and share account so I'd get walloped if I held on to everything. 75p get out would be quite something.

It's time DS to finish the suspense. February is the month.

Don't think this will see 25p this week though Lloyd. End of the month though without news then yes, that's definitely on the cards imo. Wonder what all those who have confidently been posting 'great buying opportunity' as we've dropped through the 60's, 50's. 40's and now even through the30's, will say if we hit the 20's. I can just imagine... Looking pretty dire here now. Too many confident posters just not listening to lths trying to warn of the appalling track record of GDR sales. Well, I say appalling, it's just non existent.

An RNS with news of sales and I too agree this will fly but I just have a horrible sinking feeling (one I've had before with GDR) that we've got nothing in the pipeline. Just a feeling....

I think there's a clue here as to how long it may take to get UK approval. AVCT applied in Oct and it's taken nearly 3 months?

GDR applied in mid December and we have clowns on here saying we're going to hear imminently. Don't think so...just being realistic.

Don't believe the rabid ramping of Tiger and the rest of the pump and dump gang. They're obviously not done with GDR just yet but I think they will lose interest very soon once they experience first hand the tardiness with which the BODs are able to act at GDR. It's really quite something.

The British Govt have made it abundantly clear - see Jacob Rees-Mogg's rather terse response to a perfectly reasonable question in the House regarding Govt support for British diagnostic companies. They will NOT support the likes of ODX or GDR sadly. Budd has to do this on his own with his sales team. The best outcome would be to gain a contract with either a major corporate bank or globally recognised company eg Glaxo, a chain of private hospitals or educational institutions. That way attention would be drawn to the GDR POC product. Just my opinion but I'm not confident GDR have anything up their collective sales sleeve and don't think they know how to offer PR at the required level for something on this scale.

The next positive RNSs that are due to arrive fairly soon are the UK approval and then something on AIHL at the beginning of March. Either of those landing should give the sp a healthy kick up the proverbial. Sp is hovering in a range for now but could easily nip back up to 50 or 60p with either of those RNSs being released. Alternatively Budd could kick us all in the wotsits by announcing there will be a delay to any sales agreements due to price/further approvals needed etc I honestly wouldn't put it past him. He's sitting pretty for another 12 months now so doesn't need to provide share holders with anything positive any time soon.

I know it's a negative opinion but I've been here for a while and witnessed Budd's ineptitude in getting deals over the line and also his nerve in announcing things that in reality are nowhere near coming to fruition eg US Ministry of Defence or Eastern European Country or 'the numbers add up dramatically'... Those came to absolutely nought. Hence I'm highly sceptical of anything he announces based on 'optimism' or 'confidence'. I'll wait on the sidelines for some news with meat on the bones.

AJO12 - sorry, I don't know the answer to that. I'm a keen amateur in all of this, nothing more so I'm only ever spouting opinions. At a guess I would imagine the instigation of Rule 15 on AIM would pertain to a proposition at that time, rather than be back dated to a prior agreement but I really don't know.

I'm hoping that the BOD are working hard to reward themselves financially up to this point in time, whilst having a cunning plan to take things forward and give themselves fantastic options to continue their work/investments in EUA2. The best way to do this from my incredibly limited view is that the next action is to release the updated JORCs on MT+Flanks. That should comfortably result in the value of WK and MT+Flanks being worth more than 75% of the whole company at that point in time. The BOD would have no fears of a share holder vote if the divi (special divi) is attractive to all. I could imagine some dissenting voices were it around the current sp ie 25p but no one would in their right mind would vote against a proposal of say 50p +.

I still struggle to see a pay out of more than 50p (that on top of the current sp) but others have far more knowledge than I so I'm hoping they are much nearer the mark with their predictions of £1+. What ever happens I think by end of February we are going to know which way the cookie is going crumble and can all make decisions on how to proceed or call it a day and sell up.

Hopefully the reason for things being done in a particular order is that DS and the other BODs want to maximise this divi from an asset sale purely for their own gain. Nothing wrong with that. They’ve been working at this for 25yrs and deserve to make something significant but if they blow the value of EUA, as is, through the roof by publishing the JV licenses for EUA2 then it’s highly likely WK and MT wouldn’t comprise 75% of the whole value. I’m hoping whatever is the outcome of the divi situation a vote is required from share holders rather than simply being told what to expect.

I’m utterly fascinated by all of this and can’t wait for the final outcome. It does seem as if things are nearing a close of some sort. Anyone else think those outstanding 250m odd warrants will be issued just before a big announcement? That’s potentially a huge pot of gold just sitting there waiting to be bought for peanuts. Perhaps they will be issued to iis investing in EUA2 once the asset sale is announced.

Heading for 4 months since we were told we’d be getting JORC updates ‘shortly’. Well, we’ve had just one and that was just on an underground section of NKT and not MT+Flanks which is what we’re all interested in. Two and a glass months since being told a ‘credible partyI’ has successfully finished its due diligence. All sorts of news falling into place but still no License updates or more significant Jorc updates. It feels like EUA are getting seriously close to shedding proper news on what the heck is in store for share holders but the sp stubbornly refuses to get excited. It should be at 30p now even on sentiment alone but there’s some serious effort and shenanigans going on to keep the sp suppressed.

It’s nearly three years since I first saw that DS interview In which he stated he wouldn’t be rushed. He’s a man of his word, I’ll give him that but surely ‘shortly’ has been and gone now?

Come on EUA it’s time for a proper update and to let the sp finally head north and find a realistic level for what EUA more has on the horizon.

Here’s exactly what was stated in the RNS. It even informs us of an existing backlog. No assured timeline = 20 days??
I guess end of January is as good a guess as any. Could just as easily be end of Feb. That’s my point, no one knows so throwing out expected timelines when we’ve been specifically told not to work on one seems overly optimistic. Not wildly I’ll grant you, but posters are working on exactly the basis we were told not to!

Why? I could be wrong but I thought aTR1 only had to be issued if a share holder gains more than 3% of an individual stock. Mcap is £39m so 3% would be about £1.2.m.

4 x £180 is well short of that. Good to see huge buys going in like these though. Still down by over£50k here so any upturn is welcome right now. Long may it continue.
