Certification itself doesn’t guarantee sales but the next product can’t be sold in some of the biggest territories without it eg the EU. We simply have to have it to stand any chance of making this work commercially. They recently raised £1.5m!! I would like to be reassured that’s being spent on further product development and making sure the products will eventually make it to market and be sold. This is supposed to be huge growth area in the energy sector but VDTK directors appear to be making a strong case against at the moment…

Oh dear, and down we go. I think investors are now gearing up - perhaps that should be down - for Budd to finally break his silence and tell us what we already know ie sales have been slower and more difficult than expected. I’m expecting this to drop quite significantly now that the support level at 12p has been broken again. Down to 10p and then on to 8p once the RNS lands. Then it’s just a case of either topping up, lowering averages or just sitting tight and wait for NICE news in February to bring the sp back to life. That’s all assuming a low ball offer doesn’t land out of the blue. If the sp hits 10p or lower then Ivan see an offer for 30p being thrown in… tin hat time guys

Also bear in mind AIHL was developed hand in hand with the NHS so they already have a vested interest in it being adopted and becoming a successful part of their future care plans.

Just looking back to try and see why this is struggling so badly. Did anyone see any cash figures for the end of yr position? I couldn't see any anywhere and was wondering what the current cash position of BMN is and cant' actually work it out. Has it been deliberately hidden and is that why the sp just can't stay above even 5p and is at a 5 year low....?

So there is competition - actually from within the NHS - but it's far slower, taking days rather than 3 hours to get the results the doctors need. This just goes to show the speed with which this new technology is going to grow. Gilham and Budd need to somehow improve their visibility and get the name Genedrive out there.

Buyout for 50p likely unless we reach February/March/April and have 'Best Practice' guidance published from NICE and news starts to flow of widespread adoption of AIHL machines in the NHS. If we get that far down the lane then a buyout offer imho could well be higher.

I really hope no one is still listening to Mac banging on about how it's all so simple and perfectly clear as to what the BOD are up to here...? I sold out a few weeks ago but saw this article and thought of holders here. Not in any way wanting to get involved in any slanging matches with rampers here but for the more level headed I think this article is worth reading and certainly bearing in mind when people suggest $billions are going to be exchanged for what ever is in the ground supposedly owned by EUA and that UK pis are going to walk happily off into the distance with their pockets full.

I was invested here for over three years and hoped for all the world the BOD would get a deal over the line but it never even came close and I had to accept my mistake. No advice but just be careful!

Ah here we go. This could be the play to improve the look of things before Buddy boy has to announce sales news and get his salary confirmation over the line at the next AGM.... I'm not complaining mind. I think this Stroke marker test is far bigger even than the AIHL one. This is just the beginning and I really don't think potential buyers are going to wait and see what sales look like before realising the possibilities globally. What we really REALLY need is a bidding war. Wouldn't that be nice.

Come on Dr Gilham and David Budd. All will be forgiven on the sales front if you tell the world someone is interested ....

Forsy: I understand your frustrations but my own take on all of this now is that Dr Ian Gilham actually isn’t that bothered about sales. He wants the products lined up Ray for commercialisation but that as soon as we get that NICE guidance in February a buyout offer will land. It’s the Chairman’s modus operandi. Not mega mega buyouts but significant ones that see great returns for lths. If he raspy wanted sales then Budd would have been removed by now imo. Just gotta ride a little more stormy weather but see things through to February and the Spring and life will look a lot rosier here.

Agreed Jenkoo although I’m not sure if one can assume they were heading for debt/administration imminently at the end of June 2022. Again, if they were that close to the wire would that inspire a Director to buy in with such a hefty sum?

I think the reason the conversion time for prospects is slower than they’d like/expected is the delay in getting Certification. Just my take. As with most AIM CEOs RR is anything but transparent and this fairly heavy weight BODs looks as if they’re all playing with VDTK as if it doesn’t matter a great deal to them individually if it survives or not. There never seems to be much going on and certainly nothing urgent so my hopes are they’ll just keep dropping something positive into the market every six months and I can eventually get myself out - unless (!) they can get that Certification issue sorted. Then things will look very different. Good luck with it.

Starres - sorry to disagree so early on a Monday morning but imv there is no chance they will announce Directors buying in Nov. Not going to happen nor indeed will we have any positive sales news. I don’t know what Budd can say that’s going to help his £300k p.a cause but sadly I think it’ll get through.

Agreed DSFLAT but I really wouldn’t get yours or anyone’s hopes up on this issue. It’s just not what this CEO or BODs do. They were obviously given an ultimatum on the last placing to buy a set amount each but they were all minimal. That was at 25p which is why I’m convinced Budd will struggle to get another placing away unless the sp is sitting further north than where it is currently. He has to give the market something positive other than ‘NICE news is due just around the corner in February’ or else the market just won’t go for it. A private sponsor (philanthropist?) offering to cover the US FDA costs would definitely help but I don’t have any confidence in Budd or Doctor Ian Gilham in managing to persuade anyone or any organisation to step up.

That would be ideal but I’m impatient having already been invested for nearly 3 years and first bought in at an eye watering £1.50 or there abouts. I’ve watched my money here come and go (mostly go!) but still believe in the products, if not the management.

The other’bump in the road’ I spoke of is of course another possible placing. If the Chairman has a plan with similar timing to you bighammer then we’ll definitely need a raise at some point. Thing is, can Buddy boy hold on until we have that NICE guidance and news of NHS adoption which will see the sp head north or will he have to go for it sooner having overspent on the Covid PoC product (£2mon total of more?) for which there has been zero return?

The sp will rerate as soon as there is confirmation of nationwide adoption at NHS hospitals just in the uk. An offer I Think will land sooner or else the problem for pharmas will not be how much they have to pay for GDR but will they be the chosen purchaser if a situation with competing bidders arises. Share holders here have just got to be patient enough to get through the next couple of bumps in the road which imho are imminent ie being told there are no sales of Covid PoC kits and revenue is negligible. However, regardless of how much the sp drops I think it’ll recover in Jan as we approach the NICE guidance publication due in Feb. This is the key moment for me when I think GDR will become a far more enticing investment prospect.

I’m also intrigued why John Celaschi would have thrown another near £50k in if things were really that grim. The old adage ‘don’t throw good money after bad’ was ringing on my ears but he’s a savvy - if slightly dubious - investor with deep pockets. If this was going nowhere surely he’d take the hit and put his money somewhere he’d be more confident of decent results in the near term. Just musings on the vagaries of what is after all the notorious AIM casino…
