Even this new variant which spreads like wild fire isn't deemed so serious so it'll just pass soon enough without the UK Govt having to spend anything on it, or very little at the most. Budd knows this and to date hasn't managed to get any conversations going with anyone in the UK as far as we can see. If he had we'd have known about them.

It's AIHL and good news on the US FDA pre-submission route or we head further south. At the mo I'd say we're doing ok as there's no news yet and we're slowly but surely creeping north. If we could be nearer 20p by the end of January that would be great and then a final surge as NICE news is expected to drop. If by some miracle the sp surged and went to 30p then i think the BOD would move sharpish to get another placing away at 25p and we'd find ourselves back in the mid teens before you know it. But hey, compared to where we were 3 or 4 weeks ago I'd take that in a heart beat. All to play for here in the next 4 - 6 weeks.

Would Budd be allowed to hold back news on the FDA route? It would be good news if we are eligible for De Novo but would it in itself be deemed price sensitive?

Exactly the same thing I said after they dropped the bomb of the distribution deal going belly up and announcing a placing raising £1.5m. That Director must either know things will work out in the next 12 months or he'll be sick as a dog.

pwlx - don't agree about 'Plenty of people are hoovering up those shares that they sell anyway'. We are averaging 250k - 300k shares a day being bought so nothing like 17m have been hoovered up over the last 10 trading days or so. That's why I fear it's MMs holding the sp up for mates/iis.

That's quite some discrepancy between Morning Star and Ortex! c.133m shares or c46m?

Lots of good figures thrown around and numerous price rises for Vanadium but....BMN's management is a major problem imv.

I made a terrible mistake a few months back pulling out my whole investment from Invinity to put it in here. What an error. Such limited comms from FM and even when he does say something one always has to consider if he's telling the truth because of past dubious performance in management terms. To say he's just in it for himself might be a bit of a stretch but he's definitely priority no.1 as far as BMN management is concerned. Dodgy man and dodgy connections in a dodgy jurisdiction. I spent some time in South Africa as a young man and loved my time there (Cape Town) and have always hoped the Govt/people would sort out the corruption but it's just systemic. The wider market is showing no confidence or trust at all in management's ability to avoid making all the usual mistakes of self interest above all else.

I'll look back in here end of March and will eat my hat and apologise to all if things have improved. My personal estimate is the sp will be somewhere between 3.5 and 4.5p

He lied. He'll shortly be $45k richer for this hold up and probably hasn't done a thing to resolve the issue.

If you believe this will eventually come good and he'll deliver then yes 1p or sub is a bargain but any investment in Russia now as risky as it gets.

If numbers are up then even if TP are selling out we should be ok. By my reckoning they’ve another 33m shares. Let’s hope having sold another 30% of their holding they don’t plan to sell any more. Surprised we haven’t seen another TR1.

With BCN Ganfeng came in a jv partner at just under 30%. Sp shot up from 20p to over 40p and then nothing happened for absolutely ages. The sp just slipped all the way back to 15p and then sat at about 20p for most of that time. Eventually after it seemed everyone had lost interest and nothing was being progressed Ganfeng suddenly announced a take over about 65p and ended up taking the whole lot for way under $100m. It was a huge resource and many share holders felt it went far, far too cheaply but once Ganfeng got their claws into it they just sat and bided their time until they could strike. The BODs were completely caught between a rock and a hard place as they couldn't possibly go looking for funding anywhere else so couldn't possibly match what Ganfeng were willing to put in to get to production.

Now the Mex Govt have realised what's in their garden they won't allow more bargains like that to get past them without taking their 'fair' share. No idea what is on the horizon for KDNC but were it not for the wretched war in Ukraine and such a bearish market across the board that is massively off risk it's possible KDNC might not see any interest from outside for another couple of years. Unless someone puts their hand up from some angle, whether it be strategic investor or Jv partner I can't see how K can avoid going to the market for more cash. That said wtfdik. Always get these things wrong although I did very early on post that I thought BCN would be snaffled up by Ganfeng for peanuts and so it proved to be.

Anyone know if they're planning on selling the rest of their holding? 15% would be roughly 50m shares and we've seen over 15m dumped in big chunks just over the last 10 trading days or so. If they're getting rid of the lot then we're not going to see 4p anytime soon. Had really hoped the trading update might be something to get excited about but these iis always know something we pis don't and have obvs got a heads up.

I actually see thos as a slight sign of desperation. I suspect K and other Directors were hoping for a much bigger uplift in sp on that PFS and planned to get the money they need for the DFS on the back of that rise. It didn’t happen and now they’re stuck possibly? Without a DFS they’re in a far weaker position in negotiating of any kind. Dilute further now to get the required funds and move the company into a far stronger position or just sit tight and hope this bear market improves soon and investors start risks again.

It is also a fairly derisory amount c.£4.5k. I own an awful lot more than that and have bought as much just in the last month alone. Switching off now for a while..

Good in one way - always good to see directors purchasing shares in their own companies.

Bad in another - it means there are currently no conversations taking place between BODs and any potential JV partners

As someone else keeps saying here and across AIM…. patience. Valuation by the market suggests we’re an awfully long way off being of any interest to anyone yet.

It's those huge trades that have 'slipped' in without shifting the sp at all that I'm currently worried about. As I said, it's 50/50 as to whether the mms have been allowing mates rates for people buying in (obvs not such a problem!) or bailing out. Time will tell but this is AIM so I'm prepared to see the sp nose dive at a moment's notice. Conversely perfectly prepared to see it bounce up hugely. Roll your dice....
