Surely we all have to be happy with a rise like this, even if it is short term??

As I've stated before, now we're over the most recent (bad) news on poor sales the next thing on the horizon is NICE news and everyone is expecting this to be extremely positive. We've survived that recent blow and the sp didn't capitulate to the degree I feared it might so I'm chuffed to see us now well into double figures. I think this rise will be a steady and sustained one all the way into February and perhaps the BODs are hoping for the same. They have to do a cash raise and the time to do that will be either just before or just after the NICE guidance is published. My gut says the BOD will want to see a surge on news and then drop it in. However, if the news released is positive then I'm hoping the placing won't be at too punitive a discount for existing share holders and that any pull back will be short lived.

Bullish I know but I am hoping for up for about 30p by the end of this month.

See this so often when a company produces good news, sp struggles to go anywhere other than down. My guess is people are latching on to the last line from the CEO and so assuming there are months to wait for any further developments but in truth they may already have begun conversations with potential JV partners..

The CEO: "I look forward to reporting further progress across all our projects in the coming months."

Definitely good news but still a long way to go and loads of work to do which will cost loads. Interesting to see what the market makes of this. Best chance of an immediate upturn is the hint of a JV. That’s my hope.

Shares to buy. A tool that got most of my money out of here when the ps was 10p and then 6.5p. You, like the blind and deaf idiot you clearly are are probably still here, massively in the red, just allowing yourself to read and believe all the ramping rubbish on here. Anyway, we'll see. I think I'll be back in 6 months to see if the last few of my shares are worth anything at all but I've pretty much written them off now. Good luck and I hope Father Christmas turns up again for you next year.

maestro1 - any idea how much cash is left in AMC accounts pls? My guess is if it's only a few hundred thousand then RY will just maintain the status quo ie stuck in no-man's land and drain the coffers paying himself and a couple of other Directors until the company has to declare itself bankrupt and Sviblov gets it for free. If there are still millions of £s in the bank then i reckon something may happen in about 6 months time after RY has had a good rest and a few holidays.

I know that's a grim outlook but RY has said and done nothing to reassure share holders he's on the case of or indeed able to solve the banking issue. Life for him is a lot easier to sit back, relax and do nothing until the accounts are empty and then just retire. I don't think he's got the stomach to battle and look for other projects to take on or the energy and guile to present a positive case to investors to stay with him.

I can’t imagine anyone at GDR is expecting anything other than full approval and best practice from the NICE guidance in February and as such I’m convinced conversations will already have taken place with numerous NHS Trusts to adopt the AIHL machines. One announcement to that effect will be the start of a significant change in fortunes here. I think the raise will be dealt with after NICE news and also hope the FDA route will be determined and announced soon. After the cash raise is done I think the first NHS announcement will see the sp hit 30p and I fully expect/hope that we’ll see that announcement no later than end of April, possibly even earlier.

Here’s to a much better year for GDR and its long suffering share holders.

It’s obvious Sviblov isn’t ready to go and they’ve cooked up this problem. RY wants to take his monthly salary for as long as he possibly can. This latest announcement means he’s game on imo to keep taking his pay cheques for at least another 6 months if not longer. We won’t hear anything now for months. The guy is ONLY interested in what he can get out of this situation himself, NOT in providing share holders with anything. It’s gutting but money has been lost here and I can’t see us coming away with a penny.

This probably isn’t going to help matters but I guess if the deal still isn’t over the line then RY might find himself forced to accept 50% of the $35m but of course I’m getting ahead of myself, he still hasn’t found a bank anywhere in the world that will accept the money from Sviblov. Looking more and more likely RY and AMC share holders will walk away with nothing.

Could it be a sell that’s been worked over the last couple of weeks and held the sp back? I guess either way it’s good to get it out of the way so the sp is free to move - up hopefully!

Doc: I just checked when I first invested in POW and it was actually back end of 2019 (then more heavily at the start of 2020 as GMF78 suggested this was a stock that was going to do incredibly well in the short to midterm future) so I’ve been invested longer than this guy Tray and have felt and shared much of the ‘pain’ PJ refers to.

What ever. I’ve been patient and simply wish some huge success for the company. I can then choose the time at which I exit. For now however, refusing to sell at a loss, means I’m a little bit trapped. If results from Molopo or Tati or anywhere are good then I’ll be happy to say my thank you’s and bid a fond farewell. Until that time comes I’m afraid I’ll feel free to express any concerns or doubts or indeed hopes and wishes I have for my investment here.

Fyi when the sp was at 1.5p recently my shares here were worth £136k. No one has to believe me. I don’t care. But I haven’t sold yet and whilst the sp keeps slipping lower I’m adding small amounts as and when I can as I DO think there is Going to be a significant turning point for POW. If being in my 4th year as a share holder I get a little twitchy and people, even the CEO, choose to label me impatient then that’s their problem. I’m confident I’ll get out at some point with a healthy profit here but right now, yes, I’m twitchy and impatient. 2022 has been an awful year for the stock market and really dreadful for many stocks on AIM so much of my portfolio has taken big hits but I’ll bide my time, grumpily and sometimes noisily, but I’ll do well with POW and especially now at less than 1.5p I think pis should feel confident of a a significant upturn here soon.

Molopo, Tati, Tungsten, Uranium…lots to think of for the future. If the wretched war could be brought to an end that inflection point in the metals markets PJ keeps referring to will be upon us in a flash and then the ‘transformational’ stuff for this company will happen. For now though it’s still a case of sit tight and keep my fingers well away from the sell button.

Crooty- as has already been pointed out several times over the last few weeks and months, it will be very difficult to get a raise from the markets after repeated commercial failure by Budd and his sales team. They still have no proven track record of success in this department for any of their products and now the mcap is incredibly low and they’re running out of money. They have also been unable to announce a single sales contract for the future - Budd tried that during the pandemic years, lying about deals worth multimillion £s - so their best hope is to keep their heads down for now and hope the sp rises through January in expectation of positive news from NICE Guidance in February. I agree with bighammer in that hopefully the sp will rise to something like 20 - 25p and they then get a raise at a 40 or even 50% discount, taking us back to the mid teens. From there on however, things would look great with widespread adoption of AIHL in the NHS, abroad and also hopefully a cheaper and quicker route to the US market by qualifying for De Novo.

Honestly, I think we’re in for a good year and I still believe there’s a chance an offer to buy GDR out could land at any moment. The potential upside here is good and improving each day.

Don’t think the BODs will be remotely worried about such a tiny number of votes against their reappointments . The statement suggesting they’ll reach out to find out why share holders are disgruntled is nonsense and will result in nothing. Forget it. We move on now and hope for positive news soon on several fronts.

The banking issue is not with Russian banks but finding one in the West that will accept the $35m. It’s not down to Russian or Xmas holidays this isn’t being dealt with.

Imho RY knows it’s curtains for Amur and is happy to delay the deal for as long as he can get away with. Every north that goes by he gets another £15k? Not actually sure what his monthly salary is but it will be worth his while stringing it out for as long as Sviblov is ok with.

It’ll just arrive out of the blue then the sp will shoot up to 2p+

No sign of this war ending sadly. Russia is strengthening its position within BRICS whilst the West spends a fortune defending Ukraine. Russia could continue like this for years and eventually shore up its economic performance working with just countries in BRICS. Then where and when will it end. West is caught between a rock and a hard place. It must defend Ukraine but is doing untold damage to its own economies. Sorry but surely Russia is gaining confidence from this terrible conflict and the West’s only response is spending vast amounts of money to prolong the war and continue the economic self harm.

Oh please please tell me more about Vanadium price rises. They’ve been going up for weeks and it’s such good news for BMN! Sadly it won’t reduce the amount of debt or repair the well deserved dodgy reputation of the CEO, who even after extremely generous remuneration needed the company to pay his tax bill. Doesn’t inspiremuch in the way of confidence or trust that the man at the top can’t manage his own personal finances, let alone those of a multi million pound company.

More price rises, more sp decline. The rot won’t stop until FM steps down imho.

Bid about to go down. Looks like second half of Jan for that upturn towards NICE news. Absolutely no one wants any risk in the markets atm.

Have never understood why GDR Covid PoC machines couldn’t be installed at all uk airports receiving internationals from places of high risk eg China. Wouldn’t cost that much and only add 10mins to the arrivals process. Or better still install them in airports so the tests can be taken before anyone even gets in a plane to the uk.

Come on Robin Young, do your job and get this baking issue sorted and the deal over the line. If you can possibly come up with anything to tempt investors to remain on board for the future then all well and good but there are many I suspect, like myself, who just want out and never want to hear of you again. Get the sp up to 2p and I’ll be gone in a jiffy.
