We will learn more of what’s in store only once our too late to do anything about. These kind of asks from a company are always stated as being in the interests of company and share holders but never are in reality.

Well, if they’ve managed any product registrations in any EU countries we’ve not been told about it. As far as I’m aware they still cannot sell AIHL or CYP2C19 anywhere other than the UK. They have numerous distribution partners but for some reason not one of them is selling anything for GDR yet.

If Cheek can get another placing away at 6p which covers the cost of an application for the US market then that will improve the long term picture but it’lltake a couple of years minimum. Starres was right in predicting global sales was several years off. I thought he’d gone rogue but once I looked into it all it became obvious Budd simply wasn’t being straight with share holders about the length of time it takes to get into such markets and achieve proper established and regular revenue .

RF must have been heavily involved in getting Budd out and so one positive thing for existing share holders to latch on to is that they want and need to see GDR succeed, or at least to some degree. That can only be good for share holders as they will help point the GDR management team in the right direction as to date Budd and Gilham have been pretty clueless

I’m not so sure any more about that. We now know GDR can only receive conditional recommendation for the stroke Marker test because of the required data collection. This will take years and so gdR is going to be in exactly the same position with this new assay as AIHL. Namely, they can’t sell it in the EU or anywhere other than a handful of NHS hospitals willing to use the machines most likely being given them for free in return for submitting the data.

I had always thought gdr would be taken over but now I just can’t see it surviving unless there are some drastic cuts made very soon.

Great that things look solid but…this has been released for one reason and one reason alone: another delay. So, as you were….

I think that £24k sell could well be Budd.

the RNS heavily implies drawdowns will continue once these 3m share are dropped on the market so i agree with Eureka. I also agree with the fact that 3m shares is really not very much and should be churned in a week or so but...that's if in fact they've not already been forward sold. Maybe the new bloke is making some headway with RF.

Still think the new CEO needs to be ruthless in cutting the fat. The sales team should be first to go and then others as necessary. If they managed to trim monthly costs down to £100k and announced sales will be in the region of £250k for the year then they'll start to trun this round slowly.

At least the drawdowns from RF delay any further placing at increasingly punitive discounts.

And don't forget the recent placing. The sp was merrily going along at about 1.7p for a couple of months and then at the end of June it suddenly started to drop, on no news. It quickly dropped to about .8p. We were then told of the placing at a discount of 40% but in truth I think that price of .45 was agreed back in June and the mms and Directors probably agreed to lower it so the discount of 75% didn't sound as brutal. From 1.7p all the way down to now I suspect the strategic investor was forward selling. Indeed this might be the reason why we've not seen a Tr1 - because the strategic investor has never actually properly owned over 3% of the shares in issue and managed to get enough away with forward selling at multiples of the current price. They will doubtless already be in plenty of profit and miles away from VDTK by now and have probably written off the rest of their investment knowing the BODs will again fail to make any significant progress.

As always when pondering on VDTK I hope I'm wrong but given their track record I doubt I am.

I have been on both sides of the fence over the last few years but after everything and the recent placing at .45 I'm mentally done in here. The treatment of existing share holders is nothing short of appalling. Is it any wonder they can't attract new investors when they say nothing even to those whom have stayed loyal. My patience has finally run out and I will await the first opportunity to get out of this, even if it means at a hefty loss. Can't sell now as I'm over £75k down with just over 7.5m shares. As soon as this has the smallest of spikes I'll be heading for the door. CEO more interested in sunning himself and living the dream (what ever that might entail...) in Thailand and probably puts in a couple of afternoons a month to try and get through to Metrotile and Lindab to see if there have been any sales. I'm uncertain as to where or not they are even selling to Lindab as there is no mention of them on the website so I'm assuming that relationship went up in smoke a while ago. I'm also assuming there has been no interim report because they haven't got anything positive to say and no sales or revenua to speak of. As the doom sayer sayeth....the end is nigh.

Just beggars belief how badly this investment has turned out to be. So much for investing in the future and renewables. Salaries are in the bank for another 6 months and then what? CEO in Thailand doesn’t have the time to say anything to the market or share holders. What should one believe? That things are happening in the background or just realise this is done?

Still no TR1 so who ever the ‘strategic investor’ was they must be hacked off to see they can’t even make any of their money back for the foreseeable, if ever. Rubbish. Just rubbish.

??? The reality here nissan is that if this is what you truly believe then I fear for your sanity and your investment portfolio. You’ve posted for months and months of huge price increases but not a single one of your predictions has to date been right. Quite the reverse.

The company is in a diabolical position owing to the former CEO’s inability to sell anything, his inability to curb the monthly spend knowing full well there was almost no revenue coming in from sales and his coup de Grace of fixing GDR up with Rf and asking shares holders to accept a death spiral finance deal.

The company in my view has two options (well there actually but it will have no choice over the third): continue as it is and run out of cash soon and go into administration or have another raise (if it can get one) and accept it will have to be at a horrible discounted rate of something like 40%. The the thrift option is for a take over but any sharks circling right now will wait to see if the company survives first before making a move.

The option of a raise and current share price movement are a major concern. When there is actually some buying but the price is taken down by the mms often means a raise at a very low price has already been put in place but in order to not make it look like a complete give away the mms run the price down and then when it’s low the RNS lands with news of dilution and the discounted rate.

Happened at Verditek recently. Share price was merely chugging along at 1.75 for months then suddenly started to drop and after tell weeks was down to .8p. Ac raise was then announced at 40% discount price of .45p. Effectively who ever loaned the money bought20% off the company at more like a 75% discount and was provably forward selling anyway and so made a complete killing. Vdtk is a tiny company with very low running costs but still generates far more revenue than gdr and they have decent partners to sell their products all over Europe. GDR has a huge monthly spend, almost non existent sales and revenue and they can’t sell anywhere outside of the UK yet.

I can see a very similar funding situation on the cards here sadly. From where the sp has been recently it suggests n they’re going to try and get a load of cash but it’ll be at something like 3 -4p and there will likely be massive dilution with a really significant chunk of the company being given away in return for probably not that much cash. It’s a really desperate picture but please don’t worry about David Budd as I’m sure he’ll be on holiday somewhere nice and hit by now.

This is very sad to see but the new CEO knows perfectly well he’s come on board at a ‘pivotal’ time.

The sudden departure of Budd and statement from the new CEO quite clearly suggest GDr are at a very dangerous crossroad. Sub 10p and they badly need cash from somewhere . I’m afraid the first news from the new boss will be of staff cuts and reduction in monthly costs (should have happened a year ago!) followed by a raise at a punitive discount to the prevailing sp. I can only assume it’s going to be in the region of 6p as most cash raises happening these days for AIM companies seem to be happening at 40% discount. It’ll be very hard on those who have held long term but it’s got to happen to save the company. Chairman Gilham was sleeping at the wheel for far too long allowing his pal David Budd to reward himself with a massive salary whilst delivering zero results for the company.

Going to be a very tough few weeks here imho

Seems as if nothing will lift this sp other than concrete news of a discovery, JV or asset sale. Sentiment is rock bottom and no amount of strategic manoeuvring by the BOD is having a lasting positive impact. Just gotta sit and wait this one out but at least there’s loads of cash in the bank to pay salaries if we have to wait years for a return on my investment here.
