I've been in GDR - with a few trades every now and again - since 2019. Still in the red but with one decent rise into the 30s I'd be set fair once more. Got one or two other stocks due to improve soon and if they do then this is where thoseprofits will eventually end up. Got a wedge stuck in a suspended stock too but hoping that might just end up being a vehicle for an rto and suddenly leap back into life. All swings and round abouts as I'm sure it is for many of us here.

One other thing I think will have a positive impact this year on markets in general is the US election. I hate him with a passion but were Trump to be re-elected I think he would bring the Ukraine situation to an end quickly. He's a businessman and wants to do deals. Not make war. I fear he will get in as there is far too much widespread scepticism now within the US public that the authorities are trying to gag, bind and ultimately bury Trump. With every new legal case thrown at him his support grows. Scary thought but there may yet be a silver lining were it to happen.

Starmer and Trump at the helm of the US/UK political axis. That or Sunak/Biden. Hobson's Choice I say!

About 500k shares or there abouts. I have some powder kept dry too (thanks to ARB movement in Dec and early Jan) but will hold fire until we are given a sign....Let's just hope it's nothing like a Monty Python sketch in a certain film and we all end up hopping about on one foot chasing our tails....

You may be right Prof but Cheek was pretty clear on which bits of news he was expecting and when. If he got all of them wrong he'd be shooting himself in the foot right at the start of his tenure at GDR. I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt....for now at least.

News of special commissioning for AIHL within the NHS would be big news. News of a partner for FDA application would be big news. NICE recommendation of CYP2C19 would be big news. NICE updating its recommendation on AIHL would be big news. This last is for me the best news as not only would it lead to far more UK sales within the NHS but it would be paving the way for the CYP2C19 test which is far more wide reaching and will be far more regularly used worldwide. I think the US is going to be particularly interested in this.

Who knows. Could be utterly wrong and it's another raise with more dilution. RF hanging about like a bad smell but....on balance I feel there is too much good news that could land in the next 10 trading days to ignore lowering my average further. GLA

Probably the wrong time but I see this being well above 7p in the not too distant future and everything else is down at the mo so thought why not.

That publication date was based on NICE review happening on Dec 23, which of course has been delayed.

I do agree that things will end up going well for GDR but I’m realistic about just how badly Budd messed things up and the utterly desperate financial position the company is in today. I don’t think it will turn around in the next couple of weeks or months but by the end of 2024 hopefully the core issue of sales will finally, finally be sorted and transform GDR’s outlook

Ha certainly not whole chaebol but I put more in at 8p than I had in when this was well over a quid. Clawing any profits back is a relief. Fwiw I hope everyone here does well Andy you’re right in that it’s currently a lottery.

Wown I’ve got some nerve chaebol. You were relentlessly posting when the sp was 8p saying ARB was unlikely to survive. Blimey. I thought long and hard about buying in at those levels because of all the similar posts and YOU cd have cost someone far more by encouraging them not to hold when it rose from 8p to 30p+ in just three weeks.

Jlc - GDR do indeed need more money to keep the ;lights on. It also needs extra money on top of that for any FDA application. The begging bowls are all lined up.

I'm getting the feeling another bit of funding news is on the way at a further discount and that's why the price is drifting lower each day. MMs always know what's in the off'ing and imp they are preparing share holders for more dilution. At least if Cheek can do another raise outside RF that will prove someone somewhere has a bit of belief in GDR coming good...eventually.

GDR needs millions and millions over the next 12 months. Sales currently of £50k per six months. Even with some good news I’m not sure there are going to be’bags’ here. You’ll have RF selling millions of shares into any rise and of course there will be more dilution in raising the funds needed even just to keep the lights on. It’s an uphill struggle of epic proportions. Not impossible but I’m not confident everything can be turned around in just 6 months and the sp is multiples of 7p. Hope you’re right though.

I suppose the value of Pluto was minimal against current mcap (£2m or £3m?) but, regardless of the figure attributed to it, if it's gone bust then this has to be RNSd surely?

Adjournment of Meeting. This was a result of further discussions with certain shareholders with regard to the Company's financing. In this regard the Board continues to hold discussions with certain parties but there can be no certainty as to the outcome of these talks.

I now wonder if Gavin Mayhew got shirty over his investment in the company being massively diluted and that's why the meeting was adjourned and also he left shortly afterwards.

Either we can assume there is a reasonably decent Vat refund coming from Italy and thus giving the company a few more weeks to try and arrange financing or...maybe it's a straight forward buyout? We're all totally in the dark thanks to the absolutely dreadful mismanagement of Rob Richards. This guy is clearly hopeless and I'm just hoping he's pushed out asap and replaced with someone with an iota of know-how in this sector. RR has done zero for the company. Zero.

So, buyout on the cheap, survive just for another few weeks until there is news of sales or administration. Take your pick. I'm hopeful for the first option so I don't lose my entire investment here but fear the last option is all too likely.

Worth, I meant the COO who was Interim CEO for about 9 months. Actually he did pretty well just to keep ARGO from going under.

The next thing we should hear about is ITS publishing its audited FY23 Annual Report and Accounts, in accordance with AIM Rule 19. It can’t come out of suspension until that is done.

Did well here from 8p only two months ago. Should have sold at 30p + of course but now out purely because they have no CEO. If there was a good chance of survival someone would step in but no one is interested it seems.

As you said many times previously chaebol it’s just a punt now on short term trades. It’ll go up a couple of pence and down a couple of pence along with btc movements imo. Given how btc has dropped and now holding around $42 - 43k with billions and billions of dollars flowing into the ETFs I can’t see it doing very well as that inflow of $ subsides. For me it’s now a case of sitting on the sidelines and waiting for the halving and see what happens in the CEO front and the next raise to try and deal with the debt. It’s pure guess work though as these last two weeks have shown, no one raspy knows what is going on.
