She doesn’t yet know what they’ve found so how can she rubber stamp it? and her exact words in that interview were ‘we’re quite optimistic’……rampers have made this bb unreadable this w/e. I’m grateful to lths for their knowledge and experience and in posting sensible and more reasoned opinions on what might lie ahead . I only bought in from .29p so am totally new and here really hoping against hope this might turn out to be another EUA, ARB or BAC, all of which I stayed in too long. Am keen not to make a similar mistake and will pay heed to those with personal history of being invested here.

Yep I’m on HL and concur. They’re locking this up for either big buys or big Sells in the last 30mins. Suspect i know which though given where this is going to be by end of next week….

The FDA’s De Novo pathway for novel medical devices can be long and costly. In 2023, the fee for an FDA De Novo vs. 510(k) is significant – a De Novo classification request is $132,464, while the fee for a 510(k) is $19,870. In terms of timing for a 510(k) vs. De Novo submission, the difference is also considerable, with De Novo requests having a target review period of 150 days compared to 90 days for 510(k).

Stocksaint - you always conveniently forget that the cost of De Novo and 510k routes are far cheaper than the normal application and also much quicker. This is because the test is not a drug and can have no possible side effects. You paint the worst case scenario but in the presentation the new CEO gave me the impression this was for one of the faster (and therefore cheaper) routes to the US shelves. The data collection from the NHS will - and there is precedent for this - suffice for the US regulatory requirements. Therefore we are already about 2 years (one prior to NICE recommendation and one since) into that data collection. I am hoping the special commissioning will make the most of the fact that evidence is overwhelmingly positive for use of AIHL and so we will see AIHL being adopted by all NHS Trusts sooner rather than later. Fingers crossed this all comes good soon. It's been a tough stock to be in, especially with the incompetence of the former CEO to contend with.

Yes, it's the US market that will be utterly transformational for GDR. If they get that then, and only then imho, will GDR become a takeover target. Just imagine what the share price might be if that happened.

The US market potential for AIHL is how much? £15m? more? News on this, especially if it's an application using the De Novo route, will cause a riot in a nunnery. And CYP2C19 is far bigger. GDR's annual costs at the moment are about £5.5m. The company and its sp will be transformed in a heart beat when that news lands.

...are as good as people hope what's most likely?

A raise to go it alone, a jv partner or a buyout? Option 1 would ultimately deliver the best return for share holders but give a bumpy ride. I prefer option 2 or 3.

Either for a second position or they didn't find anyone first time around and now that things are looking up they hope to attract a better quality person.

Surely the seller has got to be out by now? I'm not liking the extended periods of complete silence from the BoDs but hope it's down to them just being too focussed on making serious progress

It’s been a tough old ride for sure but I’m 100% convinced that with the unique products GDR have that at some point in time someone somewhere will show real interest. No idea when but even if there is some modestly good news in the mean time then I’m going to start recovering my original losses here.

The potential is huge and that’s why I’m here and can live with the bumpy ride before it’s carnival time.
