Agreed PadRock, it's absolutely typical that the mms hold the sp down whilst pals load up. Nearly £1m in buys today and we're up....oh 5%. Something is cooking alright and it's about to boil over. Q is when exactly. Another day or two, or Friday or will we see the same again tomorrow and it kicks off on Monday morning?

Terrific day at CPX today. Loaded up as much as I dared whilst it looked bad and then today a rescue RNS. If it does the same tomorrow I might just get out with a profit. If that happens GDR will be the destination for those extra funds. This is I hope going to have it's glory day very soon too. And then onto HE1 which has also had a brutal placing recently so now is a good time to be loading up there.

In fact that was based on this surging to about 6 or 7p shortly before July 10th and FULL recommendation but that’s now not looking very likely at all so o haven’t a clue really.

Seems as if the general market knows something we don’t and I’m beginning to think maybe someone was right about it being another case of conditional recommendation but go away and gather evidence for another three years and then come back.

anyway, i am quietly confident i might just make up my losses here. it will sting that lars could walk away with nearly three quarters of a million quid in profit if he takes up all his options and sells with the sp at 1p but i'll be leaving with a handsome profit by then too should it get that high.

Got a letter out of the blue today. I have a share certificate for only 1000 shares but it says to the value of $0.05 each

Oh I’m here. Enjoying the ride. Long long way to go to get back in the blue but seeing Cooley join the Board is the best news ordinary share holders could have had.

See what I mean about anybody hint of a rise and it gets nipped in the bud very quickly, preventing any kind of momentum and discouraging a wave of sentiment that could see a significant upturn in a matter of minutes.

Maybe I’m just over thinking it all and there’s not much confidence any more full stop.

When do all these options expire? The price is set at .08p so it would be great to see some of these being taken up sooner rather than later to demonstrate confidence in a swift upturn

‘Fully funded going forwards…’?? Are you sure about that? They have some cash yes but whether or not that covers everything they want to do for the next year, six months or even three months is conjecture. Trouble is we haven’t heard what the company has up its sleeve so how can you pay as a fact we’re ‘fully funded..’? I’ll be generous and chalk that one off your list and accept the others are indeed facts but sadly none of them specifically put Crap-x in a golden situation because we don’t know the figures for future development needed against what the company might generate in current sales. You see, there’s an awful out of it about. Conjecture, I mean. You keep adding 2 and 2 then confidently tell everyone it adds up to 5 or more. If this was such an easy and clear cut investing opportunity why is the sp more than 20% below the v placing price from over three months ago?

Be very careful of this CEO imho. I think a far bigger player has him firmly in their pocket and and he’s dancing to what ever tune they request. All in my opinion of course.

Is this a silly theory?

Could PH be holding these shares on behalf of potential bidder for GDR? If they anticipate a big rise as we approach July 10th news PH cd be instructed by their client (buyer in hiding) to buy sell as they see fit both to disguise any such manoeuvre but also to take the sting out of any rise that gets under way. With so many shares they cd heavily dampen even a strong tide of interest in GDR and keep the price low in order to make a subsequent bid look more generous compared to the prevailing share price.

Is that mad or could that be one explanation of what PH are doing holding such a large stake in GDR?

When NICE news for AIHL was due GDR weren’t funded for a year. The potential market for sales is smaller than for CYP2C19 and yet the share price started to rise significantly about 10weeks before the news NICE landed.

This time around GDR has significant cash in the bank. The potential revenue from CYP2 is significantly busier and yet here we are, just three weeks away from news and we’ve had an absolutely brutal placing reducing the sp to 1.5p, massive dilution and the sp has barely risen at all.

This is AIM so one expects shenanigjns but this seems to have been a well thought out plan possibly a long time in the making and our own BoD have I’m sure been fully complicit in putting it into action.

When all said and done I don’t care as long as pis are given a chance to make some money. We know once these things become proper money making companies the pros want rid of retail investors altogether if they can and it seems as if GDR, to my mind at least, has been eyed up by someone for quite some time. Perhaps Budd was ousted because he refused to go along with it and Cheek was brought in as the yes-man to do the deed.

Dunno. All fairly wild speculation but there’s a lot that has happened over the last two or three years that doesn’t make sense here.

On the positive side the BoDs are now invested but perhaps this is their ‘bonus’ for delivering GDR into someone’s hands cheaply. Maybe the potential buyer limited them to the low amounts knowing full well they’ll get their rewards soon enough when a take over happens.

Well, we’re two weeks on and it’s 200% higher than where you confidently predicted the share price would be. You must be happy not having bought in.

Read the full publication of NICE public consultation docs. Unlike the same process with AIHL there is much mention of how many tests NICE would anticipate given their preferred option is still lab testing. That was a minimum of 35k tests per year. Why would this be discussed in such detail if it was going to be another 3 years before evidence gathering would even get them close to Full recommendation? And besides AIHL is expected to be upgraded to FULL recommendation this year anyway. That alone would see the buy out offers start landing.

Lastly, even if it was to drop to .5p and then the big boys piled in, what would happen then? Oh yes, the sp would rise. Fast. To 1p or 1.5p? I don’t think so. I’m putting a significant number of eggs in this basket - for the last time I might add - in the hope and firm belief I will finally, after nearly 5 yrs, be able to make up some of the huge losses I’ve suffered being a GDR share holder.

Given up on it already as. Horribly in the red here. Just angry with myself for sticking around so long.

But please do tell me any reasons you can think of that 50m shares being dumped at over 20% below the recent placing price is good news and I should be greeting xcited about it. Please. Go on…
