I think they’ve been advised by the FDA all along as to what evidence generation they would require and so all the testing these last 2 yrs or so will also be used to support the FDA application. No point in applying into you know you’ll have everything they demand. But….that’s only if GDR can survive until then ie find another 3 or 4 £m down the back of the sofa. Sorry, your sofa. Actually the best possible outcome for long-term holders may well be to vote for consolidation with this followed by a placing of about 3 1/2 million pounds. That would get them to April May next year when hopefully the UK national rollout begins and also FDA news may be due. That would finally see the share price actually realise some of the companies potential and give long-term holders an opportunity to recoup all their losses and who knows maybe even make a profit. May take one more major round of dilution but it would keep the company where it is now, in the hands of the shareholders. That would certainly be the decent thing to do by Gino and Ross, but I’m not particularly convinced they are aligned with ordinary shareholders.

Jesus wept Emerald! You are stating the bleeding obvious. No one disagrees with what you have said in that post about FTA and the value of being placed in the US market. However, GDR need money to pay for that application and that’s on top of the crazy monthly spend of £500,000 by now they have about £600,000 left so they are in big trouble and the directors have miscalculated BADLEY by not having any provision or funding in place in the event that national commissioning was not achieved when they said or hoped for in April 2025.

Gino and Ross will be panicking and desperately trying to sort something out but we can only guess as to what they will come up with as a solution. They will save their own skins first, of that there is no doubt in my opinion. It’s a truly sad Situation that has unfolded and John Gillam who has been all that silent for far too long should be held to account by allowing a scientist to head the company which required skills he does not possess will it come good? Who knows? But if you’re still holding shares then I will keep my fingers crossed for you all.

They will need to put it to a vote for share holders. As has been pointed out many times there are no really significant holders and certainly no iis involved, although i personally think Peel Hunt still hold 66.66m shares. If it is taken private the BODs will have to present the case to share holders and most likely they will say vote for a rubbish deal, maybe 1.5p, or risk going into administration and lose the lot. Turkey/Christmas scenario. If Gino and Russ have been promised their positions, salaries and shares in the venture going forwards then they will have no hesitation but to try and sell the company for next tot nothing. Hopefully in that situation share holders would vote it down and either force Gino and Russ to roll their sleeves up and become quickly aligned with pis or they risk losing their own jobs/reputations etc.

IMO this is the best possible outcome from the woeful position GDR is now in. If there was an offer of 1.5p then I will have missed out on a small profit. I had £31922 worth at 1.35p but took my choice to accept the loss rather than lose it all. Directors simply don't know what they're doing and that's how the company ended up in the grips of a death sprial finance deal with Riverfort. Luckily that was thrown out but sadly the commpany is still no better off.

They urgently need funding as they will run out of money by the end of Sept. Something drastic has to happen here and i hope for the sakes of all you people who stayed in that it's a decent outcome.

Current mcap under £3.5m and your'e trying to persuade people it's about to rocket. They have nothing to sell yet and will need to spend loads to define product. That money will come from you if you're not careful and invest here too early. Your choice though. It'll be back down below the placing price soon enough. MOghht not be this month or next but certainly before Christmas. 5p by year end? Honestly!

Unless they sack nearly their entire workforce and take huge pay cuts themselves they will have to beg/borrow/steal to pay the stupidly high monthly spend of £500k given they earn about £50k a month. Debt, then administration and then PE firm picks up the IP for almost nothing? They then re-hire the R&D staff but dump management and sales teams? Who knows what the hell is going to happen here. He wasn't lying or putting out misleading info. It was an email from NICE staff member. They didn't deny it or question it, just that they wanted to highlight the fact the communication didn't mention POC testing. It was referring to Lab testing.

NHSE does not have enough money to do a national rollout of CYP2C19 Lab testing until possibly April 2026. The BODs want you to think that means it may have the money to budget for POC testing sooner than then. But of course it doesn't.

Perhaps the BODs were in. the middle of negotiating a terrific funding deal and the share price collapse ruined things for them. Or maybe it has just made it well nigh impossible for them to negotiate anything. Obvs by releasing that RNS they were hoping for more of a recovery than has occurred. The sp is now 30% lower than it was and any ii who might have been interested has been scared off. Either way it was incredibly damaging to GDR and tthe BODs have little or no credibility left with existing share holders or potential investors.

I wonder what Peel Hunt have made of this shambles since they helped get the last fund raise over the line by buying £1m of shares. There hasn't been anything like enough volume since to suggest they have sold all their 66.66m shares. Nothing like so I think they still hold. But could they be holding then on behalf of someone else? a PE firm perhaps? The plot thickens. £112k of buys today. Who in their right mind would be willing to throw their money away on this right now?

Nissan, Aug 15th os the closing date for final comments on the Pilot study so no, there won't be any news then. The publication for implementation guidelines has no set date. According to the comm from NICE to one particular poster yesterday the date should be mid to late September but the BOD have confirmed they know of no such publication date. They have however stated they still expect the outcome to be positive from the study. Great. Should fill everyone with huge confidence that all is well. Oh, they just need another few million quid to survive beyond September though and as yet aren't able to inform the market how they intend to do that. Tis the GDR way.

BODs have blamed the share price collapse yesterday on a poster here and accepted no responsibility themselves. Although they have still not managed to give any word on the crucial issue of funding. Other than stating they are 'actively assessing' funding options they have said nothing to inspire confidence that they know how to raise £3m - £4m without further diluting existing share holders to oblivion. My money is still on a lowball offer to buy the company from somewhere that's possibly long been in the planning by Gino and Russ - just my opinion - and they will tell share holders to accept it or risk almost certainly going into administration. Their own positions will be saved and their share holding %s maintained in the new company. Can't see any other option now that significant sales revenue seems as far off as ever. They can see £600k of sales into the next financial year as of this point in time. That needs to grow almost tenfold in order to reach EBITDA. It just ain't happening. Accept a lowball offer or lose everything. BODs have done all they possibly can.

What price per share? Long thought this would eventually be around the 3p price at which Gilham bought in but now suspect it's going to be possibly half that. Maybe even that is being far too optimistic.

This is just a stupid jam-tomorrow statement. They can't even pay their wages let alone extras such as FDA applications. Now not a chance they can get this under way in time for a decision from FDA by next April/May. They are broke. It was stated to lure more pis in and try to keep the ship afloat when it's already half submerged.

They have doubled it to £1m. A fifth of what they need. I think what you meant to say is that the company are 'hoping' for much more.

Their sales team has still only achieved initial sales in any foreign territory, 15 hospitals in the UK and FDA is years off - also requiring huge amount of funding for the applications.

It's just that the funding will not come from the central NHS budget.

That means there's no possible way of knowing how much more GDR might sell over the next year before a possible national rollout in April 2026. And, dare I say it by then the world could be in an even more perilous state than it currently is and the UK even more broke and the NHS still can't afford to fund the genomic testing programme on a national scale. (Scotland will have had it for almost two years by that point).

Gino and Russ are either crapping themselves right now scrambling around to find a solution to the urgent funding crisis they've just themselves confirmed in an RNS or...they're waiting patiently for a PE firm to make its move to take the company over for peanuts and continue to pay their salaries and allow them to keep their shares in the new company going forwards. As EmC would say - all IMHO!!!

even if they doubled their income again next year they would still not have enough money to cover their costs. stupid posts on here these last 24 hrs.

they urgently need a major sales contract. within the next two weeks to stand any chance of negotiating terms for a loan or a move that lowers the nominal value to .5p. unlikely to be voted for by holders.

what a **** show. i wonder how gino and russ are feeling right now. either they will stick to their plan of running the company into the ground (just my opinion) and deliver it to a pe firm who, in return for funding the next two years before they get anywhere near ebitda, will be able to buy gdr for next to nothing but in 5 years time they and gilham, gino and russ will be major share holders in a company raking in a fortune every year. pis will have long been thrown over board.
