Quite right, PS, it was. Also, transformative news in relation to TAM totally changes not just the financials but also the universe of potential bidders for some/all of the company. Open pit for gold years before blockcaving on the main ore body transforms cashflow and funding. The waste rock for the TSF is another excellent development. Then there is ExploreCo. BHP (Canada) are at the summit. They've woken up to a new competitor with more copper production than them and any plans for a second bite at the Anglo American cherry likely gone forever. If they read their 2024 Annual Report back to themselves, they have much to consider and deliver. They are currently falling behind on a strategic basis. BHP has a patchy history at Solgold including being told off by Chairman Liam Twigger for 'meddling' 2 or 3 years back. BHP have plenty of funding but not enough copper. Perhaps it is (finally) time for them to 'Pay up and look Big'?

The share price could easily double or more due to supportive news...and then on from there towards NAV.

Anyway, buckle in, news on TAM and ExploreCo expected and the summit starts tomorrow.

Exciting times at Solgold, a far better business than back in April 2022 when the share price exceeded 40p.

BTW, folks, among many others, Pierre Lassonde and Robert Friedland are both scheduled to be there. Former co-founder of Franco Nevada (and founder of 'The Lassonde Curve'!) and latter founder of Ivanhoe. It really is what it says on the tin, the world's largest precious metals summit. And Solgold are there. Exciting.

I reckon Solgold will be there from the outset Aff so any news could come at any stage. Tomorrow or Weds favourites, perhaps? Time for any news to do the rounds a bit before Solgold stand up to speak?

I can't recall it happening before either Aff. That one was about 7% right? Then it went up 20 something next day? What do others recall? Has similar happened in the past? We can always check the data.

What you say is an opinion and subjective. Of course you have a right to your opinion and you could be right or wrong. The 180 data is as I have stated and is a fact rather than an opinion. It is also a fact that 8.57 million shares were traded today and the price increased by 6.11%. The 180 average is 7.08 million per day so nowhere near 15 million per day average. Today's 8.57 million was above 180 day average volume i.e. not 'low volume' at all. Sorry, Quady, but you're mistaken on this one. The 180 day data is above.

That is not the case Quady. The current 180 average is 7.08 million per day and 8.57 million were traded today ( a few more were accounted for at the close which was after my last update). I regret to advise you that you are wrong on this one Quady. Sorry.

Quady, volume ended up 21% higher than 180 average and share price increased into the close ending 6.11% up. Nothing odd there (and no evidence of 'low volume' at all). I don't know what you meant by 'smoothing'. Anyway, a good day at Solgold and the journey continues. So pleased to have such a good management team in place now.

Volume just went through the 180 day average Quady and there is still just under an hour of trading to go. Who knows, we may even get an RNS before the close with a bit of luck.

It is true that shareholders do not own a company’s assets directly, which is what the 1948 Court of Appeal remark referred to. But that does not mean they are not owners at all. Under the Companies Act 2006, shareholders are the company’s members, recorded in the register, with enforceable rights to dividends, votes, and residual value. Regulators and statute consistently describe them as owners, because they are the only group whose own capital is fully at risk. In law and practice, shareholders are not co-owners of assets, but they are the legally recognised owners of the company itself.

Meanwhile, good to see the share price rallying, let's hope we get an update or two from Solgold this week, ideally, a strong update just before the summit starts on Wednesday in Colorado.
