Easy to overlook this afternoon how good TAM 58 results were.
The intercept demonstrated thick, high-grade, near-surface mineralisation that would be economic in an open pit. It confirmed extension of mineralisation to the south east of pit 2 and set a new benchmark for the project.
Only partial results were reported in August.
The bottom of hole 58 was drilled and sampled, but assays are still pending.
These samples have been in the lab longer than those from newer holes such as 66 to 68.
This makes hole 58 the most likely source of the next assay release and that could happen at any stage from now!
Of course, if the lower part of hole 58 continues to return strong grades and thickness, it will reinforce the case for TAM as a credible starter pit with higher grade zones that support early cash flow and add weight to SolGold’s valuation gap argument.
And this is all just TAM not the broader opportunities at Solgold.
