The JCC 'offer' was itself non-binding. A party cannot agree to an offer that is not an offer. Friday's RNS was posturing pure and simple. No party is committed at this stage.

Eloro, As you know, I respect WI as an IM but he is not invested here anymore as far as we know and his reference to NM 'scaring' investors away is uncalled for and beneath him. He is right to say that he doesn't know what is going on within Solgold now. Agree with that statement as a fellow outsider.

Don't agree Fort. Again, look at TP rules v carefully. As soon as the JCC bid is firm, the rules get tighter not easier. Plenty to play for. Please read the TP rules.

Actually, M , the TP rules get TIGHTER as and when JCC makes its bid formal. The TP rules don't fall away, they get tighter - full offer-period regime.

Just checked the emails. Thank you to the many updates and be assured that I will reply to each of your notes. I'm pretty amazed how many emails have come in but please keep them coming to solgsmallshareholders@gmail.com. The total number of shares owned by the group now is a few hundred below 75 million which puts the group ahead of Norges and just behind N Mather. I am going to get the latest share register and will comment as/when I see any big changes from the one from early November. Happy you're feeling better, Fort. Of course I know these are intense times for us here. Have a good look at those TP rules. A really good look given possible scenarios. You'll find an ideal application for that lovely English proverb: 'There's many a slip 'twixt the cup and the lip'. Nothing is final with this situation.

Bozi, I disagree. Let's see what happens by the 26th and then by the end of the year. TP rules do not change the duties of Boards of listed companies to shareholders in accordance with the underlying legislation. Once again, I fully support the Board of Solgold and the ability of the Directors to 'hold onto the keys' and not let them go for a song.

Calm down, Fort, calm down. I just replied to Bozi and say the same to you. The TP rules are essential reading. Of course I don't know what will happen here! What I am saying is that, given what is going on, we are nowhere near 'giving the keys away' for a song - this is not a certainty. TP rules apply. By the way, Bozi, I think you will find that I have been a supporter of our Board since back in the 6's and 7's. I still am.

No they are not, Bozi, no they are not. Have you reviewed the TP rules in detail? If not, I suggest you do and you will see that even if JCC make an offer by the 26th which is 'accepted' on the face of it, many things can happen between then and anything to do with 'keys'. :-)

Bozi, I apologised to DV months ago and admitted here that I was wrong in my initial opinion. The Takeover Code protects shareholders’ right to new information — not bidders’ right to outdated prices. The latter is important now. It's a shame that you don't care than I am happy but that's OK, I'm still happy. You won't see me angry either. Don't waste your time waiting for that dear Bozi! :-)

Stack, you don't speak for me just as I don't speak for you or anyone else. I'm quite happy how things are going. I have reviewed Friday, have looked at Takeover Panel rules and also our Board's current position. I am aware of takeover percentages, hostile, friendly and nuances. There is no panic or desperation from me so please speak for yourself. I support the Board of Solgold.
