How so, Fort? Please explain. In my view, it is JCC that is now cornered. They have until the deadline or must go away for a while subject to TP rules.

None of the parties made any statement on Friday that commits them to any corporation action at all. They postured, that is all they did. The Takeover Panel rules are in force which effectively act as a 'timetable' as of now. What these and other parties are thinking/doing or thinking of doing we do not know. This is where we are now. I am confident that our Board is doing everything it can to act in the best interests of the company and shareholders like us.

Fort, Just supposing JCC make a firm offer this afternoon of 28p. In your opinion, would this effectively mark the beginning of the end i.e. 28p would be waved through and all the parties referred to in the Friday RNS would simply make their non-binding remarks binding and rally behind JCC so that a transaction would be finalised at 28p in due course? What do you think, Fort?

M, which would be an extension of what we saw with the share register between 10 Nov and earlier this week i.e. PIs reduced, IIs steady and adding. Let's hope the present here is not a replay of folk being frightened by predictions of a '5p raise' and selling all their shares when the price was 6 or 7p.

Quady, Friday's RNS contained a plethora of non-binding statements. Until a firm offer comes, the former is the focal point i.e. non-binding posturing - a high stakes game to be assessed and considered - we don't need to come to a conclusion or make a decision because we can't. Friday's RNS was interesting but it was not definitive. Setting aside Friday and its non-binding 'Christmas Paper', I know of no reason to doubt our Board. What Solgold said on Friday was posturing too - why would the Company do anything else? We all need to see what happens next - by the 26th 5pm, in partiular.

Eloro, I shall not be starting a Class Action against the Board of Solgold so please note that. Also, I will not join any Class Action initiated by others. CA are sometimes necessary of course but I have no reason to doubt the ability and integrity of our Board. Calmness and patience are what I suggest to PIs now.

That's quite harsh, Eloro. There's lots we are not privy to going on here. Best not to condemn folk just yet. It's a game - best to let it play out. What could DV actually say of value during such a sensitive time? Friday was all non-binding and part of a game. Give our Board time to. AGM coming soon too.

Smick, Did you think carefully about what Add said and the bad news that hostile bids usually are for PIs? This topic really does need extremely careful analysis. We are shareholders and we have no reason not to trust our Board based on where we are now and the events of last Friday.

You know my view about derisked NAV which is identical to DV's. But the situation is dynamic so we each need to be patient or sell out our holdings as those PIs did so that folk like L and G could buy.

Calm yourself please Eloro. Nothing whatsover within the Friday RNS was binding. If it were, we could base are conversation on that premis. But it wasn't. No need to be worried about me. Be concerned about why PIs have sold out over the last 6 weeks whilst IIs held firm and added.

No I don't Bozi. What I do know is that all of the Friday RNS is non-binding and that TP Rules are in play at Solgold. The latter do not impinge on the Company's ability to announce significant news as/when. Indeed, the TP compels it to do so.
