Most broker views are worthless unless a detailed analysis has been carried out or if it is plain to see that a Company is in real trouble. Its a BUY for me and i have bought based on the Company`s products & income. No brainer...

Bought in on Friday and Today. Never been in this Co before but cant see any real justification for the large S.P. drop other than spending more profit on cloud. Overdone IMO & can see it back above £ 7 in a few weeks.

Saved by good news coming out. Well done those who held. Didnt get my buy order filled Today at £16.10 as i thought it would go down quite a bit more. I would be tempted to take some profit at this level though if you have bought in a lot lower as it is still early days regarding a vaccine and a return to profits for the Company will not be reached until next Year at the earliest. Got 0.5m of SGC but still love Greggs. Good luck holders...

Certainly was, £ 9K profit taken this week. Dont get may like that in such a short time. Wasn`t expecting such a rise on vaccine news so will keep remaining shares long term.

Not sure how much this will go down on Monday after news that the Company cant make a profit in the current covid conditions. Sold out after nice rise this week and looking to get back in at some stage. Not sure if laying off staff will be enough to get back into profit short term so looks like a strong sell to me until conditions improve.

Is this real news ? Could explain the big buys Today. Would rather have a Greggs meal on a short haul flight considering the c**p airlines sell now...

Agree that it is market turmoil for another large dip. Did take profits at £14.07 but have bought them back at £13.03 Today as i still have confidence that Greggs will be able to overcome the latest lockdowns. It`s a National lockdown that will destroy this Country and no PM should consider this unless they want anarchy on the Streets. Local lockdowns should work if all abide...IF ?

Having a pause for profit taking but needs to keep above the £14 mark. If so, then hope to reach next target of £17 in a few weeks time. This virus control is not helping the Country at all and will hold back business like Greggs for a while. Herd immiunity is required as a vaccine is not going to be the solution everybody thought would control covid.

It will drop again as profits are taken from lows but hopefully all bad news is now priced in. Greggs are taking action to combat the lower sales for the foreseable which is unfortunately by reducing staff levels and closing cetain shops where business is low. Profits will be back after the business adapts but will take some time until this virus is fully under control. Still holding on this one for at least another 6 months and see it as a recovery stock.

I also like a fool thought it would shoot up. It did initially but here we are at this price. Definitely getting traded on jumps and then sold off to go even lower. Can either top up or start day trading or just watch price go to new lows. The news was better than anticipated but still along way off from making decent profits. Dont want to sell at a loss but can see even lower prices given the uncertainty of this covoid restrictions and no vaccine. I`m caught in trap...

Been bought into Today so hope that update is taken as a positive and that the profit loss has been reversed. Cant be any worse than last trading statement so hoping to see £14 Tomorrow. Profit taking would soon follow if it does but its good news that is required to stop this S.P. rot.

Keeps getting sold on every small rise so need the results in to get the S.P. to move North if it`s a positive update. Greggs have certainly put in place to keep sales up and hope that this is enough to get back to some normality. Keep topping up at these levels as am confident that Greggs will get back into profit very quickly. That`s pending on not having another lockdown.

Edwards: Cant see it been anywhere near £ 25 for a long time. £18 range would be welcome but needs to get back to normal trading first. I`m sure that Greggs will adapt to this and already have in closing shops where sales are flat. Agree that update is required before any decent move North so dont expect any decent rise soon.

Agree this is now a long term recovery stock to get back cash positive. Stopped at Greggs this Morning at South Elmsall Yorkshire. Was eating sandwhich and coffee outside in car and saw a steady stream of customers around 8:00 A.M. All wearing a mask and i was served very quickly. Shows that people have adapted to wearing a mask so footfall may not be as low as anticipated over the next few months. Didn`t expect the S.P. to fall like this though and didn`t think that they would lose so much money over a few Months. Stuck with these now for a while & hope no more National lockdowns as this would finish this Company as well as a few others. This has been worse than a finacial crash.

The stampede has certainly got the herd heading for the exit door on this one. Needs institutions to start buying in to stop the rot. Has turned out to be one of the worse shares i have bought for a while. Not taking a loss though and will hold.Hard to see the bottom so will resist further top ups until a definite reversal is seen.

Makes sense to close any store that is not making a reasonable profit. Cash preservation is what is required so will see more stores close and others open where there is demand. Going to be a tough Year for Greggs as it will for most Companies.

I have seen them in ASDA a few years ago but it depends on how much ADSA wants to buy them for. Obviously they need a reasonable profit but Iceland prices are giveaway so would think that they are a good selling food but not great profit.

Yes, sales will be down and could be a long recovery back to normal levels. Greggs will be conserving cash and this is an hold for me. Wont be buying anymore until results are in but hopefully the expected news is priced in already hence the price drop over the last few weeks.

Now offering a limited area delivery service for minimum £ 1.50 charge. (Just Eat). Not sure how successful this would be unless you have a large order to make it worth while. Most people i have seen spend around £5 at most on food/drink. I wouldn`t use this service as an individual but i suppose if a few friends order in one go, then would be worth it. Be cheaper than getting a bus to go to Greggs for most people plus dont have to que. Open if this is a profitable venture or just temporary measure to keep sales going.
