Hostile bid is unlikely given his attitude but now our best hope in the near term.

I think the difficulties with the Beauty business were fairly well flagged but the marked slide in Ingenuity was a disappointment.

MM should be removed as CEO but think that’s unlikely in the near term.

140-150p should seal it after yet another appalling results day.

After watching the arrogant MM on the conference call, I certainly don’t expect any MBO.

He is happy with his own personal wealth, power and influence - He clearly doesn’t give two hoots about the share price or other shareholders.

As his power and influence in the wider world would be reduced after an MBO , I really believe it’s never going to happen.

The only thing that should change that is a hostile bid direct to shareholders.

Wonder if they will make a cheeky offer at 140p ish direct to shareholders?

Think we might take it after today’s all round performance.

If it's not showing it was done off book and so can be booked when they fancy - anytime anyday and likely amalgamated with other buys or sells.

They could for example pre announce something like an upgrade but I seriously doubt it.

Matt won’t want to rock the boat until he gets a benefit.

Remember prime brokers buy at the lower bid price.

So they can buy at both buy and sell price.
