The price has been controlled for a while using the AQX exchange and some LSE volume in last couple of days. It’s my understanding it’s how shorts close unnoticed. Control prices on main exchanges and the volume pumped through completely unnoticed on the many broker dark pools. Broker anonymous dark pool volume/trades are reported much much later as off book usually amalgamated and disguised - Impossible to trace.
It’s not the initial purchase cost of City AM although that’s a waste, it’s more the ongoing operational costs and the investment required - It was destined for complete closure buy end of July as no one other than MM interested.
Ordinary I would expect the large traditional agencies to look at acquiring S4Captital as it’s price drops but SMS has a Golden Share to prevent that from happening so nobody will move until SMS leaves and the Golden Share is voluntarily cancelled.
I will keep a watching eye and I am sure there will be trading opportunities especially if they win any new business but that cuts both ways if they lose any.
ITV /Roku is the movement into VOD from linear TV.
Yes but that’s not great great news for S4Capital.
S4Capital only handles digital only side of their client’s business.
That area of the clients (VOD) spend in the vast majority of clients is remaining with the traditional agency and not moving to S4Capital as it’s part of integrated brand AV (audio visual) campaign.
