Sorry force change at THG!

I have reached out to Kelso and I am pretty sure I am not alone.

It’s going to be the only was to force change at Kelso.

We have to try anyway.

The obsession with Kelso is simply that at this point there are only two hopes for recovery

1. An activist shareholder taking on Matt and his board of cronies to force a change in course - If not Kelso or then who?

2. A hostile bid

I suspect the first hope whilst remote is more likely than number two.

The large institutional holders don’t need to average down their positions as they hedge their exposure using shorts.

As all long holders were made to look like fools last Thursday it’s totally understandable to express frustration.

To do otherwise would be surprising.

Matt wasn’t categorical about Apollo’s Ingenuity valuation - Apollo likely said it would eventually be valued at…….?

Fact is no one knows and there must be a reason why.

The value in certainly in the Nutrition business but it’s possible the other two currently have little value?

Matt has been talking up the value of the businesses but the only figure he has ever mentioned is the 170p from at July.

Today it’s trading at 69p.

Matt has absolutely no credibility anymore having repeatedly missed targets how can anyone believe his ‘hints’ at a company valuation.

I am long but now very realistic.

Just trying to get the bb to understand the picture.

There was no Apollo bid price released.

Matt has just fed us what we wanted to believe.

Really makes no difference what you and I believe anyway as it’s the institutional holders within the 65 that matter.

We have no real evidence of any potential bid above 170p and that was summer 2022.

The rest are just conjecture and wishful thinking.

I was swept along with all be we now need to be realistic.

Let’s remember THG hasn’t closed at above 117p in over a year.

I think after last Thursday we should all now know that’s not ever going to happen.

Maybe a hostile 130-150p bid if Matt continues in place and behaves as usual?
