Good share this one, i'm very pleased with the way it's going

Don't think i'm that guy, but i did do a top up here @ 197, and very pleased about it, it was always going to be a difficult call which way it would go this time, should it take a downward turn in the summer time i would be happy to do another top up,

nothing to complain about from me, also aviva/lgen and even Lloyds doing well, let's just hope they can hold onto the gains, and of course the dividends, all i need now is for psn and Vodafone to catch up

Hi Dan, strangely HL is showing it for the 25th, but what do they know, as long as your sure its the 14th that's OK, I need to prepare myself with a bottle of champagne, and just in case a box of handkerchiefs to wipe my tears, but hopefully I won't need them

There seems to be a lot of different investing strategy's here, the best one of course is the one that you are happy and comfortable with

I guess i have gone a bit more cautious as i'm getting older, a split of 60% funds and 40% dividend shares i find is working well for myself and i would not put more than 10% of my portfolio into any one share, but each to their own as others have mentioned, if you are happy with what you are doing that's all that matters

let's just hope we can all keep making a good profit from this one

Cheap, the buybacks may well help, i hope so, but with the dividend being cut in half next year which will be somewhere around 5%, so we are depending on growth from this share to make up the difference, i think most people will be happier if we can see this moving towards 80p for now, let's hope the coming results can at least move it in the right direction

just saying though i can understand anyone wanting to express their disappointment with this share, let's be honest it has been one of the worst, nobody likes to sell at a loss though , so let's hope it can start moving upwards

Cheapsharesboy, come on mate, even guttersnipes description was better than that, we are all losers with this one, and just hoping to recover some of our losses, nothing wrong with being hopeful and optimistic, but try and be honest about it , we really need these upcoming results to be good, or it could be a long journey to recovery here

Phyl, I only sold one third off as i was a bit heavy here, so quite happy whichever way it goes, will be reinvesting the dividend like yourself, if it should drop down low i will buy back the shares i sold which would give me a lower average, but have no fear i still think this is a good income share

Phyl, there maybe plenty of opportunity's for anyone to buyback here at 220 in the coming months, the old saying sell in may and walk away, plus the ftse is at an all time high, but of course you maybe right

Calokey, you sound a bit negative if you don't mind me saying, I think most people are here for the generous dividend, so short term lows are not too much of a problem, like most dividend shares they are not known for growth they generally just go up and down within a range throughout the year, I can only speak for myself but i would be happy for this to stay down until i have reinvested the dividend, then like everyone else would like to see it go as high as possible, then revue the situation/price before next years exdiv, also hoping there will not be any dividend cuts
