Yes, it's the only one not responding, to good news, hopefully the sp will be a bit higher next month so i can sell it off, no point in having dividends if the capital keeps dropping

Well at least it's started moving in the right direction guys, almost back to 70p, we've had 2 very good days on the stock markets, and it's now looking a bit more likely we will get an interest cut in February, plenty of hurdles ahead as we all know, but hopefully some good event's as well

Trading announcement on the 04 February and final results in May, let's hope we finally get some good results to push this up a bit

Sorry guys, i have to admit i know very little about UKW other than it pays a good dividend, are you saying there's very little chance of expansion/ share price growth here and it's just a dividend stock

Hands up everyone who thinks starlink, haps,leo,etc. Is boring, I just want to see this share making gains, I'm sure there will be a future for fibre for many years to come

Very dissapointing share price here guys, doesn't seem to be making any gains, would be nice to see it back around 140 again, thought they would have been picking up new contracts with the government push for more wind energy

What an excellent day on the stock market's, best I've seen for a long time, and a 2.61% gain for Vodafone, let's hope there's more good stuff to come

Noþmyjob,I agree, just saying don't rely on only UK dividend shares, international funds can add growth and work well with a combination of blue chip dividend payers

Try comparing those results with the return from a low cost international tracker fund

Such as legal and general international index fund

Hi Gary, well i was showing a decent profit here until the budget, but you know what's happened since?, it's a case of don't panic Mr Mainwaring, pretty much the same story with all my UK dividend shares since, will keep reinvesting dividends while the share prices are down, and hopefully will get rewarded after Rachel Reeves has been given her p45 lol

Avocet123, I guessed that was the case, i was just pulling your leg, no losses at all ? that's pretty impressive, i currently have more UK shares in the red than i have in the green since the budget, my international funds on the other hand are all in profit and outperformed my shares over the last 5 years, with the UK shares i can keep reinvesting dividends, and if the share prices grow it will have been worth while, but i'm thinking it's more likely they will keep dropping the way things are at the moment

makes you wonder which side of the pond will give you the best returns, if only we could predict what will happen in the next few years, so i think i will just keep to my 50/50 split shares and funds for now, Vodafone has been a nightmare share to have been invested in, but i'm not giving up now, let's hope it can change direction

Mole, are US shares really any safer at the moment ? the only safe option in this crazy World right now is a bank account or premium bond's, at least i have shares paying out a dividend in a few months which can be reinvested until better times, well at least i hope so
