Hi guys bought in here today at 237.47, mainly for the dividend, but of course some growth would be nice as well, hope i haven't come in at the wrong time, broker rating of 250 hope it gets there

lti, Well the dividend is ok here, but there are better dividend payers, such as lgen, for me i want one share that will hold up in troubled times, and this one fits the bill , everyone needs food whatever, so next time we get a big drop in share price, I will top up

very interesting comparisons, vod is the second biggest loser for me, luckily its only 5% of portfolio, and saga the biggest loser again 5% of portfolio, but 60% loss on that one at the moment, and no dividend payments, interestingly though some people are totally committed to one share even though they are losing money, maybe they know something I don't , that would be too scary and stressful for me, but everyone's got their own ideas
Apologies for being off topic guys, on the other hand if anyone's got any ideas they would like to share , would love to hear them

Good Morning to you too , think I need to do the same, need more dividend payers such as lgen, but need to try and get better at timing. they always seem to drop in price after I buy in, its really frustrating lol. getting a little braver slowly, currently have 25% in funds 25% in Lloyds and the rest in other shares, unlike the shares all my funds have stayed in the blue, only problem is they are very slow in making any progress and bring in very little income

Hi sidi mate, started using the DividendMax site yesterday, to work out how little I'm going to get in dividends, oh dear lol. think I will have to sell off a few more funds, so I can put more into dividend shares, are you 100% shares or have you got a mixture ?

It can be a problem if you get caught up in a fund being closed down, same happened to me with the woodford fund, couple of years later, and its still not completely closed, but this is a different thing, of course nobody knows if it will reach 450 or more this year, still think its a good dividend payer though, like everything else it depends on what price you bought in lgen is my number one favourite, as it paid full dividend through the Pandemic and this second choice, but that's just personal preference

Should a long term holder of vod bail out now,or hold, nobody is suggesting you do that, not going to mention the other thing, as I said I wouldn't , what do I know, I've made mistakes myself for sure, just hoping I have become a little more streetwise, hope things go well, we are all hoping to make some money, and all have different ideas on how to do it, who knows which is right

Have to say I was disappointed with drop, as other shares are making better progress, but tomorrow is another day, hopefully better results next time

All shares taking a battering at the moment, at least we have a good dividend to look forward to with this one guys, ok with me if it stays down until divvy is re invested, and then onto £3 plus would be nice

Thank you guys for your price predictions, difficult I know, but mostly in the right direction, when shares were at their low price, I used all funds available to top up on other shares such as lgen , aviva and lloyds, was very unsure about this one at the time, but looks like its in recovery mode now, lets hope those cruise ships get fully operational soon, so you guys can make a profit and hopefully I can recover some losses from here, this is only 5% of my portfolio, so happy to hold on until hopefully it fully recovers or at least gets close

Hi CSDI Just want to thank you for pulling out of Tesco, I was wondering what was holding the share price down ???, only problem is, every little helps won't be there for you anymore, I'm sure we would all be willing to do a collection, to stop you inflicting this curse on us lol
If Vod gets to 124, i will be pulling out before you invest more

Good evening guys, I've not been on here for a while, been invested in Saga for several years, and this is the rotten apple in my portfolio still 60% in loss with this one, and no dividend payments to compensate, but you have to accept that sometimes
I realise a lot of you have got in here at the bottom price, and best of luck to you for that, timing is key, but doesn't always work out
Can see a lot of you have been doing research into this one, out of curiosity can I have some share price guesses for say end of year please
