Good evening sidi, I don't think that's greedy at all, my average is 229.20 and I want £3.50, I don't mind waiting a couple of years to get it, because I want the dividend money as well ;-))

Its a bit dissapointing, maybe should have sold at a loss 6 months ago, problem is now all my other dividend shares have got back to their pre Pandemic prices, except this bugger, and how long will it take to get back to my 1.97 buy price if ever ?, it's a bit dissapointing , thats putting it nicely

I Agree with kevwin, seems rock solid here, just chill out and collect the reliable dividends, wish the others were as stress free as this one

sorros I think most people invested here will tell you, its meant as a long term investment, and rightfully so, it may get another boom year this year, or you may need to wait several years for it to make good gains, so its not going to be for everyone, is it right for me, not sure at the moment, maybe if I get back into profit I may feel different, so undecided at the moment

Good evening Dan, just a bit of a wind up mate, cracking bank holiday weather and well overdue, only thing I know about that crypto stuff, is its very very risky, and don't think I want to know about it either, I would prefer to be able to sleep at night, vod is a slow burner, but hopefully it will slowly make its way up to the £2, while we are collecting the dividends
lets hope it will continue making gains again after that knock back

Re: poss. takeover, this could be a good thing or a bad thing, if it happens, only trouble is, nobody likes uncertainty, still if it's putting the price up, somebody must think its good

Hopefully this will get up to 70 this year, when and if it does, I will start reducing my holdings here, banks just seem to get hit by one thing after the other, usually the first to go down, and the last to recover, big mistake for me getting too heavy into banks, lets hope it has a fast recovery

Rumour is, dan is going to sell all his shares and go into crypto currency/bitcoin, he's been doing a lot of research into it, not sure if it's right or not

good morning sidi, yes thanks for that mate, topped up on Aviva when share priced bottomed, got over excited when it made a nice profit lol, and sold out a bit early at 362, kind of regretted it afterwards, so put a small amount back in at 390, not sure what to do here at the moment with talk of sd etc. also not very impressed with tesco, bought at 220, may wait until before next ex div to sell it off at a profit, and put money into mng
