I have put the lowest figure, only because I think it might drop back a little before the next push forward to £1.50 and beyond , listening to the bank of England's predictions, think this could be the year for big growth for UK and Europe, providing this Pandemic stays under control, just my opinion, hope I'm not wrong, and Dan don't mention holidays, I would love a week of sun and sangria, you have to be positive after all the crap of the last few years of Brexit and Pandemic

Thanks vulture1, its just what I was thinking really, I sold aviva recently and took the profits, but regretted it shortly afterwards, then paid more to get back in, so gained nothing from it really, interesting to see other peoples views, probably best to sell off less performers, and keep the reliable dividend payers

annalisa good profits to be made on the likes of iag and tui probably, but they can just as easily collapse perhaps, I'm still 40% down on saga after recovering from 70% down, due to there 2cruise ships grounded, but good luck if it works

Your views, when this reaches £3 it will possibly have reached its peak or close to it, with an average of £2.40 it will be very tempting to sell and take profits, and maybe put money into another divi payer that's not reached its peak, with the possibility of maybe coming back in here on a lower price in say 6 months time
what are your views on this type of strategy please guys, I know there's guys here much more experienced than myself

Hi sidi mate, been with lloyds since 2014, been a bit up and down, then finally ppi claims finished , they announced quartely dividends and prices were about to rocket, then came pandemic , and you know the rest prices dopped to low 20s and divi stopped, took a bit of a gamble, sold off my worst performing funds and put it all into lloyds, when it was down on the 20s, hoping it will pay off, but nothings guaranteed as you know

Well its been a bit of an eventful week, comparing portfolios, finding out a lady poster is a man with a big wallet, Mikey makes a brief appearance, comparing of wallet sizes and pe*nis extensions, and who's got the most horses, csdi makes a guest appearance, he will be back one sunny day, and best of all vod gives us all a pleasant surprise , lets hope it can keep up the momentum and finish on a high tomorrow , just here to learn and pick up share ideas me, never found it any good comparing wallet sizes, I keep telling people how poor I am, hoping they will make a donation, but that doesn't work either

Looking good here guys, lets hope it continues, Bank of England predicting 7 1/4 percent growth this year, the biggest jump since the war, if so this could be a great year to be invested
sidi Lloyds is my biggest holding and its been doing well lately, please don't give it the kiss of death lol

Yea disappointing finish all-round, think we all could do with some nice things happening now, like the end of this Pandemic, a nice relaxing holiday and a nice long stock market rise, keep the dreams alive, and hope we don't have to wait much longer

Hi moleman, you have analysed smt very well, and of course it backs up your growth and diversification advice, for me though I would prefer to pay the experts a small management fee rather mess it up myself, as I wouldn't have a clue what to pick, still learning by picking up tips from you more experienced guys on here, if their past performance is anything to go by, then it will be worth , trying to build up a combination of growth and divi payers, I know what I want, only problem is I don't know how to do it

jagadish, that's a fair comment, I joined smt recently, probably at a bad time, as things took a turn for the worse as soon as i invested, I am now starting to see a profit, and starting to believe in smt and the management, I can see you guys have made a nice profit here over the last few years, and hope it will continue so I can also benefit, good luck to you all and hope we have good years ahead

RE Moleman advice I'm with seen it done it on that one, quite happy to see share price go up down up down and collect dividends, and try to not dip into capital, but don't like it when prices go down and stay down for a very long time, which they can do if you pick the wrong ones, and at wrong time
great advice though Moleman and agree with your theory but think for me I will leave that for the experts like yourself and fund managers and investment trusts

sid some nice divi shares there, some of those you know I have, just over a year before my retirement, so trying to build up pot as much as I can, without too much risk, also gone into Scottish mortgage trust, which has returned around 150% in the last couple of years and hoping it will continue, not at all worried about vod, hoping it will continue to make upward pace, and picking up divi on the way, saga is the biggest loss for me at the moment, hoping they get there cruise ships moving again
gla and hope vod will push on to £1.50 soon
