Date for news / update6 Sep 2020 11:48
Scoobieless - we know the 'normal' 28 PUSU has been put aside here, but when the Board finally agreed to start the process formally (remembering of course we had been unofficially for sale for a long time), do you not think they would have placed some form of timeframe on getting a deal done, and most certainly UBS would based on their 'no win no fee basis'.
So if we assume they have done as I suggest above and set a date, what sort of timeframe would they give?
IMO it would be 12 weeks, as I have said here before, no one ever says you have got 13 weeks, or 15 weeks or 18 weeks, if you need to give someone a reasonable period of time in business to come back and report or respond to something major, in my experience it is usually 12 weeks with some updates in between.
Now interestingly, that would take us to w/c 21st September, the Monday following the AGM on Friday 18th September, is that a coincidence do you think? - your suggestion of the end of October would be just over 17 weeks, why do you get to the this date out of interest?
Appreciate no one really knows and we could be taken by surprise at any point, however based on what we know at this point, w/c 21st September would seem like a very good prospect to me for some form of update.
