Headancer - good reminder, I always had 12 weeks as a minimum before any news was likely for reasons shared before, some form of time line MUST have been given to prospective buyers, it would never be left open, imagine "yea, no rush, take you time, make us an offer whenever you feel like it..." just can't see it happening, thats not to say of course we will get news tomorrow, but based on recent news, with the ducks lining up, the next few days could possibly produce some form of update, heres hoping!

It is interesting how different people read the same information and form significantly differing opinions.

I can only assume earache is not fully versed on this whole situation with EUA and has not been here over the past 18 months or more, if he / she had then there is no way they would form the opinion they have.

DS has been a driving force here and significant SH, for may people he 'is' EUA, however we are also very clear on what the plans here have been for him, sell as part of a great deal and move on to pastures new, that does not come as a surprise to any LTHs here.

The suggestion that he has been moved aside to allow the more experienced to take over, or has somehow been demoted to a less significant role is ludicrous, I believe the move has been done to enable him to move on more quickly once the deal has concluded, he was never going to be a part of it like JN was.

IMO this change was more to do with DS releasing responsibilities before the inevitable acquisition and to make the transition simpler and cleaner, it's just 'ducks lining up', a bit of 'people housekeeping' if you like, of course he can continue to help at the very highest level in concluding whatever deal is on the table and I am sure he will, if I had his share holding I would be right in there, but once done, he will be in a position to move on very quickly without any disruption and we already know he has delayed the other business he is involved with once.

No fear here, frustration of course, all prices are wobbling presently so I guess it is to be expected, people who invested here see there portfolios drop in all other areas and convert to cash to 'protect' themselves, I get it, but I won't sell a bean and if I get any more money together I will add to my already pretty large shareholding.

Absolutely right and I couldn’t agree more.

I actually don’t care what happens on Monday and to be honest if it drops I will simply use it as an opportunity to add. I know it will surpass 27p at some point I. The next couple of weeks if it does.

Looking forward to seeing if we get a TR1 at 7.00am and who it is, I appreciate general consensus is GDXJ but who knows.

Stay firm, hold or add on drips from here this is probably the easiest share buying decision I have ever seen on any market!

Maybe way off mark here and I know we were told that the $10m was for WK operations - but to be fair that could mean anything in reality.

So what if 2 potential buyers went halves (meaning there would be no need to disclose as they would be under 1% each) because we needed some more funds to help prove up resources, how else could we have raised the money at this point. It would be win win, we increase the value of resource leading to a superior sale price, they get a very small amount of equity as a starting point before they ultimately take us out in one form or another.

If a company was involved in the FSP and had signed an NDA would it be possible for them to do this, would it be above board....? I am sure there would be a way, stranger things have happened.

What I glean from the excellent news today is 2 key things:

1. The sale process may take a little longer than some had hoped, but that is not necessarily a bad thing, in fact it is probably a very good thing.

2. After 12 weeks of negotiation within the FSP (and remember it will have been going on longer than that) - there must be some very serious bidders for this latest announcement to be made. Why make significant changes to the Board in this way if they thought for one moment that a sale was not likely to happen - we are at the business end now IMO, probably a couple / few big hitters still in the process and the details need to be thrashed out, may even have some form of agreement in principle, who knows, but you don't do this if nothing is happening.

DS has no intention of selling IMO and would not be allowed to sell at this stage having had the involvement and knowledge he has had.

Blatent deramping of the worst and most ill informed kind, I am staggered.

The RNS is excellent news, there is no other way of looking at it, nothing negative at all, just continuing the BODs focused and determined attitude to get the very best deal possible, possibly a once in a lifetime deal for them and us.

I will add again if I can release some more funds, going to review my portfolio now and sell some dogs like I did yesterday, just now I am even more convinced.

GGP have had 60m shares traded today, we are currently 10% of that, not sure I get you...maybe me!

Whilst that makes sense logically I am unconvinced that it always how it works, especially when you have relatively few trades overall, just 5.5m today so far which is tiny for this share.

There is certainly some manipulation going on and it is easier at these levels to do it I imagine.

I added a few today just couldn’t resist. Sold a dog on basis that this will get me money back more quickly than that one ever would have.....

Well, the market appears to be OK with this, so many times previously I have seen consolidations followed by an almost immediate and steady slide. However it feels different here, to date GB has delivered on what he has said and everything looks to be well thought through, well planned and well executed, everything is done with a reason in mind, sounds obvious right? but to be honest it is not something which can be said for all companies......

So, question for me is, what is the 'game' here, the real reason for the consolidation, I get the "SP looks better and is more attractive to big investors blah blah blah..." but I am not sure that is necessarily the main point here.

At this point I am not sure what the rationale truly is but I am sure we will find out in due course, based on everything to date, there is a more to this than meets the eye IMO.

Looking forward to the 24th, surely there has to be a movement north in anticipation of what could be announced then, we have been teased quite a bit and with a second lockdown looming, some positive news which might allow the economy and life generally to get back to some degree of normality would be explosive.

I will just keep adding on dips if we get any more....

Bed and Isa is not always as straight forward as suggested, the spread often kills it and the transaction is therefore not done immediately, herein lies some risk when news could be expected at any time, you also don't know what price you will sell and buy at.

I am no financial expert, but what I did was sell other investments in my ISA to the value of £20k and made a note of them, then bought EUA with the cash released. I then sold the EUA in Trading account, waited for it to settle and transferred it across to ISA to buy back what was sold - some transaction charges of course but actually made a little on a couple and lost on others dependent on SP movement in the days in took to settle the sales and withdraw cash, however there was no EUA risk.

Worked for me and happy to have the shares tucked nicely away in mine and my partner's ISA accounts.

I think there would be many people looking to move any money made at EUA into GGP if and when it is sold.

Will need to be mighty quick to avoid the spike on that day......

I don't think you can guess anything from the timelines thus far - it could be that no suitable offers have been made, but could also be that there is a bidding war going on in the background about which we are unaware and the price is being driven up and up, we simply don't know.

I never expected to hear anything before 12 weeks is up at the earliest for reasons stated previously, that 12 weeks is up just after the AGM....the process has undoubtedly been going on for a while but there must be so much info to digest and so many issues to resolve in such a complicated and potentially mega deal.

I am able to read, I simply could not find the information I was looking for, and believed to be there somewhere in the RNS's I was reviewing, there are quite a few, as I said in my reply to GH, I had not re looked at the Restoration RNS because I had wrongly assumed from the title that it was simply confirming the re list. If you look at the other RNS's it does not state quite the same, I was sure however that I had previously read it and so I simply asked the question on here, a forum for asking questions and learning or so I thought / hoped.

Having been on here a long while, I knew people would misconstrue my intentions which is why I reiterated my position as a LTH who is positive and has not sold since the days of 2p.

I do understand people being somewhat cynical of other posters however I can assure you that in this case it was a genuine question seeking help and I appreciate that this help was received from at least one poster, I guess I will have to accept all the negativity which will go alongside it.

Anyway, I have my answer so thanks again.

Thanks GingerHippo, I thought I had seen it somewhere and it was what I believed to be the case but when I saw elsewhere someone saying UBS were being paid I wanted to confirm my facts, I looked in a number of the RNS's but not that one as it was a 'Restoration' one and assumed it was saying just that so read through the others and couldn't see it....!

As I said, LTH, not sold a bean, added numerous times since re list but not in last couple of days, beginning to regret that now, luckily enough though I am doing pretty well in the shares I did invest in.

Can't be long now before we get some sort of news, I am still of the belief it will be the week following the AGM for some form of update, that being 12 weeks since we were officially put up for sale. I just can't believe the BOD would have initiated the process at this juncture unless they were pretty confident it was the right time and informal offers that met with expectations had been already touted. JMO.

The general consensus on here has been that UBS are working on a success fee basis, can someone point me as to where it expressly states this, I can't currently find it in the RNS's.

This is not a deramp, I am a LTH and am adding not selling, just a genuine question so any information is appreciated, thank you.

What makes you say this? I cannot think why a timeframe makes a deal any more or less likely.

Remember we are in week 11 of the FSP process, and as I have stated a number of times before I believe nothing will be heard until at least 12 weeks, that makes the earliest we could hear anything the week after the AGM interestingly.

I unclear how time reduces the chances of a deal as you suggest.

shows on EUA website as a 'buy' with a time stamp of 5.15pm......just goes to show that you can't take much notice of any of the buys and sells...!
