Its a fair view IMO, as you say no deal would have concluded by now, we have been told the BOD are wholly focussed on the sale, in fact restructured for it, we have been in the FSP for 21 weeks, UBS have been involved at least all that time, DLA Piper for circa 10 weeks, if there were unlikely to be a deal I am sure we would have found out by now, they would not all still be talking about 'ifs' and 'maybes', they are busy and professional people, they would have walked away.

On a full sale, I am now of the opinion that this is less likely but still possible, I would have thought a full sale would have been able to have been concluded by now, at least in so far as to initial offer shared, the only thing for me that could perhaps slow the process here is the resources upgrade, that could take a while, but AP have been involved here for around 8 months now, plenty of time to get the data required for an offer to be secured I would have thought.

So maybe, the complexities of a JV arrangement with multiple parties involved, perhaps creating and operating a new PGM district is what is holding this up presently - would explain the delay, would explain the Board changes, perhaps explains the DS move, perhaps explains the last RNS.........

I am still looking towards the 30th Nov / 1st Dec as the next date to look out for potential news / update.

RR1889 - ditto, I would love to retain my shares in a company which was potential part of the largest PGM miner in the world, at a time when demand for the products was increasing, at a time when the product was in structural deficit and at a time when the price of the resources was increasing.........we would also then benefit from any increased licence area or new proven up resources. Win Win.

Said it before, best case scenario for me, a 'smaller' amount now, just to say thanks for sticking with us, and then a big part of what is to come, annual dividends, which could dwarf any amount people may receive from their company pension.

MarkP1989 - with regards the RNS and Phil Taylor, personally not sure the timelines correspond to be honest and secondly why mention the price increase in the RNS then, if it were felt an insider were selling which they needed to clarify in some way, that would more likely cause the share price to drop would it not, so the 2 things are not in my mind conducive.

Yes I fear so. Unlike yourself I am very positive here and have been for well over a year. I do believe a good deal will land.

I will challenge positivity as well as negativity if there are comments made which I believe may be untrue or misleading, in this case I have asked on here and elsewhere, a number of times, if there are any rules within AIM which require a company to issue an RNS when the price increases or indeed decreases by large amounts, and no one has as yet pointed me in the direction of such rules.

So whilst I do not believe it was a speeding ticket in the sense most would understand it, it was decided to issue an RNS for a reason and that is what I want to understand - my view, FWIW, is that maybe, just maybe, we are not going to have a full company sale (a theory I have mentioned previously), there are many reasons to believe this may be true, and hence any possible dividend or partial sale could be in the realms of 40-70p, maybe we were getting too close to that......!

It is just a view to explain what has happened, interested in other theories assuming we can finally put the point to bed that there exist AIM rules which forced the last RNS.

EthioEthio - which AIM rules are you referring to please.......?

I equally am not convinced it was a traditional 'speeding ticket' and I have said so numerous times but I have failed to find any rules within AIM telling them to issue such an RNS, if you can I would love to read up on them.

You also previously stated you have had 30 years market experience and so I am very disappointed that you thought it a helpful contribution.

39 working days since last RNS, absolutely right, it is no time at all in the grand scheme of things, especially when you add a once in a generation global pandemic into the equation.

We all can get a little frustrated watching and expecting daily changes, thank you for the proverbial 'slap in the face' - timely and deserved by quite a few on here.

quite right dealer55, and we see that happen every single day, just take a look at the risers and fallers charts, over the last year there have been a number of shares rise by over 100% in a day, and I have lost count of the ones which have re rated by 50% or more, the view that the current SP means that is what we are only ever worth is simple wrong, a new licence, a resource upgrade, a FSP result could see this re rate 30%, 50%, 100% or more in an instant............the current scenario which I detailed in my previous post, and no new news in the last couple of months is what keeps us here presently, nothing to be concerned about from where I am sitting.

With regards to the current price it is merely a function of demand and supply, yes there is shenanigans going on in the background I have little doubt, but in terms of any new investors I just think many fear they have 'missed the boat' and there are other opportunities elsewhere so are not entering.

The current SP has no bearing on any future potential price, it is stuck partly due to MMs, partly due to a significant number of PIs holding, partly due to any new investors not seeing the opportunity and partly due to new investors unwilling to take a gamble.

There is so much we don't know at present, not just us, but anyone, so the SP is not representing true value, we know we are due updates on licences potentially, and resource upgrades most certainly, let alone the result of the FSP.

Volume is tiny relative to the share issue, 6-12 million a day on a total of 2,759m shares or 0.3% traded daily, it's basically at a stop. The SP can't really move now until new news is forthcoming, simple as that, there is not enough liquidity, and even if the SP moved up the vast majority of investors will hold, the MMs know there is no point, people have made their choices, they are holding until next news / resource update / sale.

HectorMc - I appreciate it does seem 'odd' that some people sell but you have to remember a number of investors have put much in here, some maybe a little beyond their means expecting a quick deal, and now perhaps require the money back for bills or through boredom and then see other stocks going up. Personally I won't sell.

As ever, patience is the key, I have exited stocks in the past when the SP stabilised for long periods only to see them jump at a later date, I am sure many on here have done similarly.

The other point to note is that the number of trades and volume of shares traded is actually very very small considering the overall number of shares in issue, so we really are talking about a very small number of people. The vast majority are sticking with it until the end.

Hi Newbie, I don't often look in on Twitter if I can help it, but Alexei Boucher used to post now and again, I have assumed he was told to stop all forms of comms when the sale process started to gather momentum, it wouldn't be good practice for an employee to be tweeting stuff I guess......my assumption only.

Nor has 'EM_investor' been posting, some people believe that to be DS (it has his picture) but that is unconfirmed, however his account has ceased posting too.

Alex has not been on Twitter for some considerable time for obvious reasons.

Looks like MMs trying a slightly newer and slightly lower range to scare a few sells.

I joined the Telegram group some time ago when it was formed and tbh have been very disappointed with the level of discussion and information on it.

They are often quite critical of LSE and posters here which bearing in kind the quality of their debate is pretty hypocritical.

She blocked me as I challenged her on something she said a while back, but she does appear a little odd to say the least. I would have thought a lawyer (as she claimed to be), would be far more balanced, rationale, receptive and articulate, she is none of the above. As others have said I would ignore anything she has to say, seemingly she sold half her 2m shares yesterday between 4.00-4.30pm. Maybe she now wishes she hadn't and wants back in, whatever, she is unhinged and does not behave like who she suggests she is.

Obvious manipulation going on as the good Tilly has been telling us for weeks now, on a positive note though it must mean this is the bottom and once they have completed their orders we will head north fast, shares already appear to be drying up, each day the volume is dropping.

Whilst I get a little frustration I think the talk of 'stagnation' and 'bottom drawer' is all a little bit hasty and unnecessary.

The FSP proper only started just over 4 months ago, despite the repeated claims about lack of information, we have received updates from the Board during that time, the last one explicitly stating that investors should remember that the business is very restricted in what it could say due to the process we are in.

Bearing in mind what we all believe we have here, a multi billion dollar asset, then I think a few on here need to give their head a wobble. Wait and be patient, or sell and leave, I would respectfully suggest that the option of 'hold and moan' is not really that helpful or interesting for many on here.

BofB - you may well be right, I was just trying to provide a scenario which could explain what happened but which does not also suggest the company is not worth what we all believe it is. A scenario which has some merit I think.

As I said a few times, I am unconvinced it was a 'speeding ticket' in it's traditional sense, just a little frustrated in terms of the impact it has had.

Appreciate it has been discussed before but it appears to have cropped again this morning - I am on record here as stating that I am unconvinced the last RNS was a 'speeding ticket' - it felt very different to any speeding ticket RNS I had ever seen before. Granted, we were increasing at a reasonable pace but then I have seen other shares move faster who were not under an FSP and no such RNS was issued.

Whatever the truth, the effect is the effect and we remain in this tight channel.

It feels like some people here are not keen on believing the RNS was issued to 'check' the share price increase because they are hoping and believing in a much greater valuation than the 40p or so when it came out. I too believe the company is worth much more than that (£1b), so how can we square the circle...?

Well, it is of course possible that we do not sell the whole company at this point, maybe just MT, or maybe a stake in MT, maybe a stake in the whole business as part of a JV, there are so many permutations and combinations that could be considered, and maybe our BOD who, as we know, are not inconsiderable names within the mining world, want to retain some interest in what could become one of the largest PGM miners in the world, why would they all necessarily be happy to sell up completely and move on...! They may never get a chance like this again. DS is moving on, we know that, and he has now moved into a position which makes that a lot easier has he not?

So maybe the BOD were concerned that we were reaching a level which was beyond any deal value but that of course may have been for just a part of the operation - I would be very happy with a chunky dividend (above current share price) and to retain my shares going forward.

IMO, a JV arrangement would also be far more complicated to arrange and agree than an outright sale, maybe this could explain the timeframes we are experiencing too. There are a number of factors which suggest a partial sale is now more likely IMO.

My concern is people have been saying that on this BB for 18 months, lots of great PR and director comms but consistently lacking in actual performance information.

I do hope it changes, but we have been here before, in fact we have been nowhere else!
