I totally get the frustration, I too have been here a long time, took my extra shares and have a pretty large holding, but we can only go on what we are being told and it sounds very much like things are still progressing, so to be honest, I for one am happy about that.

I imagine AS is as frustrated as us but if there are things out with their control what can be done, people on here keep wanting updates but there is clearly no update which can be given.......!

It is obviously unclear exactly when news will land so all they can say is 'hopefully the next few weeks'

I think perhaps I have gone beyond the frustrated bit, perhaps even mentally written it off, so the idea that this could actually come good and we return in some way is actually pretty exciting now.

Anyway that is how I am choosing to view it, nothing I can do to speed it up................

quite, as mentioned last night there is an update from Mr Potanin on his vision for the company and an interesting talk from some guy on future growth and strategy - very hard to get through the agenda ass described and not mention EUA if indeed they are involved with this scenario, so for those reasons, at this stage, that is my drop dead date for next news.

However any update could quite easily come at any point up to and including that day............18 days and counting!

Well, I haven't actually been able to find a sensible answer as to the small trades situation, however having seen the 66 and 666 trades posted this morning I am now inclined to believe it is someone having a bit of a laugh at our expense, it has been known before.

30 does seem to provide quite a degree of resistance here but I think this is little more than ourselves keeping it here, we appear to have created our own pattern that surely suits the MMs in getting their 'well deserved' %'s........

Rise above 30, sell a few, drop back below and buy them back, make a few quid, I have even considered doing it myself but when I worked out what there is to be made doing this vs the risk, it simply was not worth it, you could make £2000 on 100,000 shares trading if you are fortunate with the SP movement and the spread, but if an RNS lands in the time when you are out then it could cost you £50,000 if we even just sold for 50p..............and most believe it could be significantly more than that in an outright sale, that is simply not a risk I am prepared to take at this very late stage.

Good luck to those that do and I am sure there are many, but to my mind if you are in at this point having gone through the last 3,6,12 months or more, then you should stay in.

....and then there is the NN Capital Markets Day on the 1st December I believe, if, and I say if, it is them involved here, then surely we would have to have heard something before that!

There is quite an Agenda, and if they have involvement here I cannot imagine they would be able to deliver it without some mention - Agenda starts with Vladimir Potanin sharing his vision for the company.........!

Also has Sergey Dubovitskiy, Senior Vice President, Strategy, Strategic Projects and Logistics speaking on the subject entitled 'Strategic Projects Update and “Sustainable Growth” Strategy'

Totally agree Crabby08, which makes me believe even more that the initial phase of the FSP is complete, there would have been a date set on July 1st, and I don't think it would have been 19 weeks or beyond for people to show an interest, at that point we were already a fair way down the process IMO, the BOD have been talking to interested parties for months and months and they have been open about that several times.

So for me, the FSP was the 'all in? fair warned' call as I suggested at the time, it was not the beginning, but more like the beginning of the end.

That's my view anyway, and now 19 weeks further in, we simply must be amongst the final details.........with DLA Piper doing what they do best.

Crabby08 - I think it would wholly depend on what other news accompanied this scenario.

We could get a significant and detailed resource upgrade across a number of sites and we could learn more about JV plans going forward. You could build a case for the SP dropping, staying the same or indeed increasing from where we are now based on how that information was received.

I guess you would get a degree of PIs selling which would deliver some negative pressure to the SP, however if the news was good in the medium to longer term we may see more Institutional Investors looking to get on board for a longer term opportunity, remember there are few palladium plays out there, this could stabilise the fall and bring some balance.

My view on part sale is only that , a view, having now shared it I imagine we will get news of a full sale any time now.....!

yep, it happened between the 18th and 25th August, 7-8 weeks into the FSP process so you could be correct, it would be irksome if you were a rival bidder and NN was mentioned in our RNS's, definitely a reason it could have been taken out, always though it was odd that it was mentioned by name in the first place to be fair.

Surely not much longer until we find something out here, what are we now, just over 19 weeks into an FSP process, more than 4 months or a third of a year....!

I am absolutely sure the initial phase regarding interest / price / offers will have concluded by now and we are in the detailing phase, everything points to that.

If I am honest, I now rather believe that this may well be a part sale rather the whole lot, the MDA situation, Board changes, appointment of JN to his new role, the RNS when we were at 37-38p, the $10m II raise to support and ramp up production at WK, the time it has taken so far, maybe no one is prepared to pay all in one go what we are worth / seeking at this point but nonetheless want a piece of the action going forward.

To be clear, I actually see this as a positive, I would be very happy with a chunky dividend now and to retain my investment to share in the spoils in the years to come as metal prices continue to increase, more licences are applied for and issued and we prove up more and more assets perhaps as part of some JV agreement.

DC - they did you are right and I have previously mentioned this was an interesting development IMO, it was ‘deliberately’ changed for a reason, could not that reason be because NN were by then the likely winning bidder so it would be wrong to continue mentioning them in official RNS’s?

Equally you could argue I suppose that it was because they were not the likely new owners.......

One way or another, someone asked for that reference to be removed for a reason, that’s for sure.

As you say though all guesswork really, it’s all we can do!

DIMITRYsCOUSIN - you are correct in that there was supposedly some response suggesting what you say, however they are unlikely to share the 'real' reason if it is indeed us, so just saying it is some 'internal company business' is a reasonable way out for them is it not?

you are a braver man than me Matt007, have often thought about doing something similar but as well as the risk of prices moving against you I also fear the risk that I could not get back in very easily either, after all this time I would be inconsolable I imagine if I missed the RNS.

I think I will just wait it out.

PP - my suggestion was maybe at this stage we only sell what is proven up, retain all rights over everything else so we can still benefit from that as and when more resources are proved up. Maybe 40-50p under this situation would not be so bad as a dividend with plenty more to come in the months and years ahead.

Not much has happened here in a straight forward way thus far, we should be prepared for a 'curved ball' perhaps, to be honest, IMO, it wouldn't be a bad way to progress, granted we would not get as much cash up front, but in the medium term the shares would return far greater value I suspect.

As I said, just a thought, it could happen, maybe a buyer is not prepared to pay what is expected at this stage by the Board, or maybe the Board are not prepared to let it go too cheaply too early........

I managed to get a few more here and in a couple of other stocks this afternoon but Halifax and HL both crashed for periods of time. Hope others also managed to top up, I assume there was some profit taking to invest elsewhere across the market, just have to hope it continues........

Based on EUA latest presentation we have 2.2m ounces at MT (JORC).

Obviously loads more likely but let’s just use that as proven mineable resources at this stage.

2.2 * $2200 = $4.84b

Minus AISC at $400 per ounce

Value = $3.96b or £3b

Divide by 3032m shares = circa £1 per share

What is the % one could reasonably expect for JORC approved resources?

But of course in this scenario we retain all interests in other assets and licences going forward..........

Just a thought for discussion, that’s all, not a deramp, I am long and strong here whatever the Board decide is best.

EddieX - it is wrong that you have be rudely replied too, your view is as valid as everyone elses.

If I remember correctly, without reviewing your posting history, the basis for your share price prediction was heavily predicated on the 'speeding ticket' and your view that the market was one step ahead of the game in some way, a view which I have some support for to be fair, there are certainly forces at work who have more information than us mere mortals.

So, could it be that we were moving towards to a 'partial sale / dividend' price at nearly 40p, the assumption of many investors at the time was a complete buyout so expectations of a much higher price, that would have worried the Board and Nomad I guess.

However an initial 40-50p dividend whilst we retain our shares and interests in many other licences is a distinct possibility is it not? Is this a theory you could align too perhaps?

Do I get a sense that some people are now thinking that perhaps a partial sale / sale of assets is a more likely scenario than a complete buyout, which whilst reducing the 'value' in the short term, may actually , and most likely, increase the returns for shareholders in the medium to long term?

I have always had mixed views on this, but nothing would surprise me anymore here, there a few things which would certainly tie into some sort of partial deal with an interim dividend payment whilst retaining our shares:

If you considered the recent RNS a speeding ticket (which I didn't necessarily), then it could perhaps 'explain' that a little more, maybe we were getting closer to the partial 'dividend' price for MT alone (proven up resources only without flanks).

The $10m was raised we are told to support development of WK, that would tie in too, maybe we are going to mine that ourselves as we prove up other areas and seek more licences, keeps the cash flowing, we could be selling off parts of the company for years to come, that could prove to be exceptionally lucrative for shareholders.

Our Board has recently been reconfigured, we have some major mining expertise on here, why do this if it is no longer likely to exist in a few weeks / months?

We represented Russia at a recent mining conference, was this a precursor to EUA having a seat at Russia's premier palladium producing conglomerate?

The belief / likelihood that a major palladium district is being created in Monchegorsk that we could play a lead part in based on our 'ownership' of MT and surrounding area licences, true value for EUA would surely lie in retaining some involvement and interest here would it not, especially since metal prices are only going one way over the next decade or so.

All very interesting, as each week passes it just gives rise to more and more guesswork, but it is fun to do so whilst we wait.

My point was that they may be unable to communicate so criticising them for not doing so is unfair.

Very low volume today indeed, in fact the lowest volume since 25th September, and that was the start of a 2 week rise from 18p to 38p!

Ah I see, makes sense, if you are selling something you have a price in mind which is usually actually higher than you would actually accept, you think he my have been referring to that and in retrospect I would agree.

I am totally convinced that a price has been agreed now and the sale done, nothing has happened to suggest not, and several things have happened to suggest it has, it's almost so obvious.

We will never be able to guess a price here because I don't think we will see the resource upgrades which undoubtedly have been happening in the background, that will be just for the negotiations now, I am assuming it will all come out in one go.

ACF is our best guide for sure, it feels like it is our only insight into what the BOD maybe thinking, but even that is OOD now, add some back in for the flanks licence, a bit for the increase in metal prices......a premium....you could easily get to 65p plus, that is where I am pitching it, low ball 65p, or anything up to a £1 would be outstanding.

mac4671 - I think I am missing something / misunderstanding, when you say 'the price on the screen' - what do you take that to mean then, does it not merely mean the current price in the market?

I think someone mentioned it yesterday but not sure it was on here, any view on the agenda point (the only one), dated 14th July, shortly after FSP started officially.......states:

1.Approval of transaction limits and counterparties.

Are we able to explain this referring to something specific much like the Thyssen thing, or not??

Totally agree, I thought the 'interview' was very poor, I don't think he should commenting at all and the interviewer, whoever he was, sounded like some bloke you might meet in the local pub!
