It would be a very brave move to short MTL. But it does rase a small concern about illiquidity of the stock, we have a substantial insider holding and shares may become hard to sell if things did take an unforeseen turn for the worse.

I've been in since 2.5p in Jan last year. The upside is huge but I've been trying to find downsides recently (because I want to buy more!). The only things I can thing of are political issues in NIc and natural disasters. I have full faith DB can build la India. Am I missing any obvious risks here?

1% a day over a year would be something like 12X today’s value or a share price of about £1.30! Think everyone would be very very pleased with that!!

The insane amount of money given out during Covid and the low interest rates of the decade before that are coming back to bite hard. Now rates are starting to fall again big money is looking to put it to work, I think a lot of that money will flow into physical assets like gold and property.

Anybody know why this isn't available on Trading 212? I want to move my ISA to them but they don't seam to have MTL available which would put a stop to it! No wonder it's not getting the traction that maybe it should if you cant even buy the stock on one of the most popular platforms!

I think that news is a big part of why Asos price increased so much today and dragged boo along with it.

I really can't complain about Charles Stanley Direct, the Divi was in my account on the day. £11.50 per trade though so if you're very active its probably not cost effective.
