They have to release the COPD and an NDA is irrelevant as CW25 says. There are rules regarding getting temporary exemptions for releasing news (if doing so would jeopardise something) but I don't believe this would apply in this case since the people in those deals have probably asked to see that raw data anyway and the only people you'd be withholding the news from is market participants (ie us lot). So I don't think they can do that.
I've not changed my stake here for quite a while now but if COPD was good I'd be a lot more comfortable with adding more back. My concern remains is that they don't want to release it before a deal, if they can do, one, because it's probably alright but won't appear as good as the COVID data (due to COVID directly inhibiting IFN-B production). So they probably could see a fall based upon it and are trying to drag out the analysis/release of the news till the latest moment they can get away with to try to get a deal done before then.
If a deal is done before then it matters less what the market thinks of those results.
