I seriously doubt they've got any agenda here, other than just talking about the most popular shares at the time, and promoting others on the back of it, as osheriff says.

It's very simple...the article is fkin stupid.
If you judge every biotech discovery stock on their fundamentals like revenue then you're always going to miss every single big rise.
The writer has virtually zero financial experience and just be a couple of years out of uni.

Punit is easy to understand:
"Why the drop?" = "I've sold and want it to go as low as possible"
"Why the rise?" = "I've sold and want it to pull back to buy again"
"Boom this is worth £10" = "I've bought and want you all to pile in"

_Mr_Big: Every little helps...however in the grand scheme of things, it's a different virus, and I doubt there's much concern about the safety/tolerability of SNG001 in general (primarily because of all the various trials done by SNG in the past decade and a bit or with AZN) or all the other uses of IFN-B worldwide (albeit in a different mechanism mostly). More a question of proving the efficacy on a bigger scale. I think the COPD news is more important for investors (as a fallback) than to the regulators.

I doubt they're that well connected Bella (to know about any deal). Fool continually seem to promote a set of stocks at the bottom of their articles and it's probably just the same old guff (this share is good/bad/mixed but the one we're promoting is better seems to be the purpose of every article).

Motley Fool always ramp some other stock at the bottom of their articles. Makes them very hard to take them seriously. Seems pretty questionable practice to me.

Org30/Seb46 - Often it's a ramp when people say they can't buy but I think some people genuinely don't realise it's their broker being sucky. IG aren't perfect but are a pretty good mix of price and quality of platform (99% of the time I hear "can't buy" - I can).

I can buy as much as I want....even up to a firm quote for over 0.7 million pounds worth.

If you can't buy your broker is rubbish :p
