Lol we’re back to lockdowns being bad for boohoo again now. Problem with the scaremongers is they always say both sides of the coin are bad and therefore look idiotic.

This board is funny. It seems to waver between locksdown being bad for boohoo and no lockdowns being bad for boohoo.
Fact is, people are shopping more online, regardless of lockdowns. It might cause brief peaks/troughs but ultimately the trend is still more online shopping and boohoo has proved to be one of the best (if not the best) in fashion at capitalising on it.

Anyone who pays attention to these broker targets hasn't been around very long.
The guff they put out publicly isn't what they really think.
Behind closed doors you'll see plenty of the high and mighty getting advised to load up on Boohoo now before global conditions improve during next year and all the broker upgrades start happening again.
When they've upgraded again publicly...they've already bought (for their clients or told them to).

Slightly amusing the post saying "it's not closing auction, it's uncrossed trade!" got three recommendations.
The scaremongers always seem to be the least informed.

This is a company expected to make £117-£140m a year in ebitda AFTER the big downgrade...no matter what all the idiots on here try to worry people amount...that's a lot of money....and they're still growing at 30% YoY QonQ in the UK.
When things start recovering globally...you can start multiplying that upwards...
The market cap is insanely low for a company like this - that's the be all and end all - waffle about directors or downgrades is all noise. Those are the numbers and they're very very good in a very very bad period for a business like this.

Usual market games. Right at the lows they'll swing it a bit lower to take out all the poor mugs with stops on, take all their shares, then swing it back up having collected them all for peanuts.

It's always the same after a fall - you get some scum of the earth turning up.
Most of them are almost entirely financially illiterate too (on top of being just plain old illiterate in many instances).

Nothing broken yet. It's swinging between 101.5 and 103p at the moment. If it starts to move much above 103 without dropping back then that's a better sign.

Or, to put it another way, when volume is back to more normal levels of 5m a day, like it was over the summer, if they bought back half the daily volume average from that period on top...that'd be 2.5m shares a day...or 20 trading days to close out doing that every single day....

At least 3.8% of the company...a lot of shares to buy back if the selling dries up....

As I said InsiderKnowledge - you're just scaremongering filth trying desperately to paint the worst picture you can. I note you've now done a giant essay to basically say the same thing that I did in one sentence, which we all know, about the short term negatives and conveniently ignored the positives about the strong UK growth, having been caught out posting lies about the sales being down.

InsiderKnowledge - in case you hadn't noticed. Sales aren't down. They're up over 30% in the UK. In markets abroad they've struggled more with the logistics issues. Even including an average with those markets...sales are STILL UP overall. Returns are high RIGHT NOW, not really surprising with the omicron wave and government messaging, but like the logistics issues, this is unlikely to last forever.

As I said - your argument is just plain stupid.

In fact you could make a case that for a company like boohoo, with no debt, is in a far better position than almost anyone, if rates did rise, which they'll probably only do a little bit anyway!
So yeah, trying to scaremonger about interest rates, on this company in particular, is rather desperate stuff.
