From these numbers, it would appear that:

The MMs didn't get that many when they dropped the price on vaccine news (they dropped it too quickly on a day when a number of trading platforms failed).

The trading level of 110p that we went to was too low.

They do not have lots of shares.

To balance this we are seeing spikes and lows as traders try and earn a shekel and MMs look for shares cheaply.

Without news, the roller coaster ups and downs will continue.

As news gets nearer, there is so little stopping this.

We see this on all shares that are awaiting news and/or are traded. Both apply here, particularly in the first hour and the last hour.

The Danish government wanted to pass a law to make the vaccine compulsory but after nine days of protests have decided not to.

The protesters were not prepared to be "guinea pigs for an unproven vaccine".

I think that test, test, test could be with us for some time.

You might think so from reading this board.

There are two supposed vaccines out, neither of which are anywhere near proven. Governments might just be hanging their coat tails on something they don't even think will work.

The share price of covid stocks is ravaged by MMs on the back of nothing and suddenly, our CEO has been leading us on about BAMS and the LFT.

Doom and gloom.

Alternatively., getting this right, recognising that even with a vaccine that might work, testing is still a requirement and realising that manufacturers dont sign up and expand on a wing and a prayer and you have a different scenario altogether.

If you choose to sell, good luck to you, this is not a ramp but please don't make things up to justify your decision.

BAMS approval
AVA 6000 filing

Seems to have been a massive over reaction in many stocks to an as yet unproven vaccine but such is the way of the market. Interesting that the government appears to have ordered vaccines from everyone developing them.

Good to see the brigadier showing an LFT at today's briefing and reinforcing the testing message as clearly there needs to be many routes out of this pandemic for normality to return.

No doubt we could see a similar sp change the other way given some positive news. Might not be able to buy though unless the brokers fix their platforms !

Unless I am reading level two wrongly, there is nothing after 182p to stop this share rising and pure supply and demand will kick in.

Completely agree, TonyF.

Other tests are falling by the wayside and the importance of getting this right at the start is coming through.

Affimer and strip supplies have been confirmed and we know we have manufacturers. Extra manufacturers will be asking to come on board as soon as we start production, so I can't see that being an issue.

The sovereign supply comment seems key to me and the fact that the current lockdown is timed for the end of this month is interesting.

No doubt you will be able to increase your holding as we see impatient sellers when there is no news announced. I still believe we are in Q4, which I know has been described as transformational and the comments made by David Bell about " sovereign supply" and "discussions with government" bode well in my humble opinion.

for the news that the pilot batch has been produced, which would also mean that the technical transfer had been successfully completed, it was interesting that the Yorkshire Post article mentioned a treatment, which is our link with Daewoong.

Whilst it is clear that testing is key, including waste water testing, people will still catch this virus and a treatment sounds a sensible approach to take given that is the case.

The company appears to have all angles covered and we will be able to look back on the battle to escape the @170p mark at some point and wonder what concerned us.

Probably not just my opinion.
