We each have our own view on vaccines and will no doubt keep those views. I am not anti vaccine but do wonder if this rush to get one out could be at some unwanted cost.
The MHRA is on the tv now saying:
No corners have been cut
Whist it is stored at minus 70% it is still effective for a short period after that but it's effectiveness does have to be maintained (at minus 70)
You need two doses, twenty one days apart and it takes effect seven days after that
We will start in care homes and the over 80s
Meanwhile, across Europe, there seems less of a rush to get this out.
Crucially, for me anyway, there seems no way to know if the vaccine has worked (you won't get covid) without a test for covid.
Test, Test, Test.
