Food for thought ....13 Dec 2020 12:10
I was out in the long, tall internet grass and got to thinking about the current sp.
At just over £1, Avacta is valued at @£260m
I then went on the Avacta website to see if I could follow what this was based on.
From what I can see, we have eight collaborations, all of which pay for R&D, make milestone payments to Avacta and royalties on product sales.
The only stated financial numbers from these eight relate to the recently extended collaboration with LG Chem, which is $510m or £380m on its own.
There must be a value to the rest, which are:
Daewoong
Moderna
ADC Therapeutics
Oncosec
Tufts
Selexis
AffyXell (45% owned 55% Daewoong)
In addition to the collaborations, we then have:
ELISA lab test
BAMS research test
BAMS
LFT nasal
LFT saliva
AVA 6000
Eight further cancer drugs
Precision technology
Affimer technology
Given all of the above, not sure how this is only at @100p per share but no doubt the troll tribe will make something up.
Does make you think though.
