Saw this last night and I'm sure they were singing Avacta is a coming, Avacta is a coming.

That dream aside, critics and scientists have been saying that the accuracy of tests is key and the ONE THING that Sir Al has repeated and repeated is that taking out problems early in the process is key. I think that the number given yesterday in the RNS is clearly well above the numbers we have read about for other tests. Not a clinician but can read.

Not heard of them but shows that the airline industry is preparing to get itself out of the mess they are in. Looks like WIZZ are paying over the odds but that bodes well for a better and cheaper test.

If the BBC is correct and mass testing is to be rolled out in tier three areas then either Innova are able to up production, other test suppliers are coming on board, or a bit of both.

I would (obviously) like to think that other test suppliers are coming on board and that we are one of them or the only one of them. It seems more than coincidental that we have also been working on an improved nasal swab approach in addition to saliva.

The upcoming government announcements this week should provide some clarity.

For all the uber negative posts this morning and for some additions to the green box brigade.

Clearly not the RNS we wanted as reflected by the sp. My understanding of the RNS is that:

We may or may not have a saliva LFT
We do have a nasal (front of nose) LFT
We have the manufacturing capacity for the LFT
BAMS is being evaluated across sites in the UK
We are talking to a BAMS distribution partner
AVA 6000 is on track for filing

Not sure this is all bad. In fact, the vast majority sounds good. Obviously just my opinion (as an uber ramper of course).

Not sure that they are involved either but also not sure whether the drug delivery approach is part of Daewoong's targets for Avacta as these don't get stated.

I do think that being linked to Tufts is a strong positive though and we are along with Daewoong.

I see that both Daewoong and Avacta have a collaboration with Tufts in the US as well as being joined at the hip through Affyxell.

Worth looking at this on the Daewoong and Tufts websites as it includes the therapy treatment mentioned for Sars Cov 2 the other day and a potential IND filing.
