The only downside for today is that if you want to sell your shares in the morning you will get 1p less for them. As that doesn't apply to me the following positives do:

1. A service provider has declined @£3m and taken shares instead.
2. I doubt they would have done this if they were expecting to get less than that amount for them.
3. They were working on something for Avacta and therefore have inside knowledge of the part they were working on and the likely success.
4. Level two hasn't changed, we still have 54702 left at 185p and nothing worth mentioning after that.
5. We have £3m in the bank that we were expecting to have spent that can be used for increased affimer production and/or furthering cancer treatment opportunities.

I reckon that is a very good day by anybody's standards. Well done Avacta.

PS - If anybody is still confused by it, just Google 10p share and you will see it is a nominal value for all shares irrespective of their current price. Not much to do by the way of research really.

I am expecting the usual attempted shakes today but they appear to be failing overall as there is a vastly reduced number (57402 at close last night) available at 185p.

To answer your question directly, I am holding all the shares I have here and buying more when I can.

There are a number of posters on here that have provided links that are very useful (RichKen) and others like milcait and Ophidian with excellent scientific knowledge. Too many others to list but that would be a start for you and other names will pop up on the threads.

The Avacta website also provides all the background you might need and the recent webinar would be a great starting point.

We have had a nibble at the 180 p stack today, having gone through the 165p, 170p Anne 175p STACKS that were previously there (see previous posts) and it looks like word is getting out about Avacta.

We are looking at only 60000 at 180p with a new renewed buying effort appearing.

After these and 70000 at 185p, there really is nothing other than what anyone let's them have of course.

As we have BAMS, Manufacturers, LFT and the all important AVA 6000 news in the pipeline, this really is cave exigo time. I also think it is important not to forget Integumen and particularly Daewong (all available to read about on the Avacta website).
No doubt people that have sold today have their reasons but with so many inflection points coming, there will doubtless many that will already regret having done so as the day has progressed, along with a very good volume of trading so far.

If you have been reading these updates before then you will know that we had blocks of shares on the buy side at 165p, 170p, 175p, 180p and above.

Last week we nibbled away the 165p block. In the opening auction today, the 40000 in the 170p block were in a UT to the sell side and in the auction just now the 175p block of 50000 followed suit.

Compared to the earlier auctions, the 165p block appears to have been eaten away this morning and we are making headway into the 170p range.

As ever, the great unread have given up shares too easily but been outweighed by those better read.

Looks like the new broker is liking what they have seen and is clearly aware of the value this company would have in the United States versus the UK and advising clients accordingly (plus TAM).

No doubt we will see a few shake abouts ahead of what is likely to be amazing news.
