RNS out.
:-)
Still a great price.
Tel, I can't believe you've come back for another scolding. You can stick yer 50 where the sunshine don't shine, sunshine. I want at least 55.
Sounds risky. ;-) Some experts might suggest selling some to balance your portfolio. lol.
I'm surprised no-one is talking about the great news for EUA that is happening. We saw the invasion of Ukraine by Russia slam the share price. Many believe the ongoing war has hampered a sale, and dampened the price we might receive if a sale were to happen while the war goes on. Obviously to reverse this we need the war to stop. There's been some talk by posters on this board about peace. You may remember people here last year talking about peace talks in Turkey and imminent news. They were proved wrong.
Putin has already told the world that he won't stop his war until he gets the land he wants. He's a man of his word - drafting vast numbers of Russians to send into the meat grinder, and he'll continue to send Russians to die (not his own kind, obviously). Financially, Russia is resilient. It's hard to use sanctions to overcome a nation of people that think outdoor toilets are luxurious. Ukraine cannot be beaten militarily by Russia - to everyone's surprise. Their national spirit and fantastic leadership, backed by munitions from countries like Bulgaria and Poland who remember Soviet terrors, saved the day. Ukraine cannot be beaten through political isolation. Russians don't understand this as their state-run TV tells them otherwise. But they will learn eventually that the West does not roll over for fascism.
But Russia does have a weakness. It can be decisively beaten militarily by highly mobile armoured forces operating with combined arms tactics and sustained attacks against Russian logistics. Ukraine hasn't got enough armour yet to make a difference. But yesterday it was decided to change that, and soon they'll have tanks equipped with guns that can penetrate any Russia armour, at longer range and more accurately - even whilst on the move. I think there's more news still to come - even bigger news. I'll let you guess what that is. But a change is coming - and it'll benefit EUA. The sooner Russia is pushed out of Ukraine, the better things will be for EUA, shareholders, Ukrainians, the world and most Russians.
Slavia Ukraini. Peace for all. And may we all get the sale price we want too.
I got in here at 0.2p for a million shares and then we had the rise this week. Buffett says ride the winners. So I bought another 2.2m this morning. That might be it for me but this is one share I feel very comfortable averaging up with!
Bleedin' derampers. You can stick yer 45 where the sunshine don't shine, sunshine. I want at least 50.
If the rampers only get me 7p I'm going to be sad. The missus doesn't know what I've put in here at 30p. It is better it stays that way.
Rampers, we need you, your country needs you, ramp hard, ramp smart and whatever happens - don't stop ramping.
From the RNS: "Liu Mingdong, Chairman of Hainan Mining, commented: "[...]aiming to start production and reach full scale operations as quickly as possible"
They ain't gonna be hanging around. This is great news.
Control has been handed to a massive corp with ample resources to see it through (and handle any bumps in the road). Given they have a large share, we can be assured that they will want to see a return on their investment - and if they see a return, so do we. So it's actually a good thing in a way.
> Ukraine Defences already sent a rocket flying into a village in Poland back in November.
That one-off incident would obviously be entirely accidental, since the Poles are very strong supporters of Ukraine. It hasn't gone unnoticed that you failed to mention that Russia has used Belorussian territory (with 'permission') and illegally violated Moldovan airspace to launch cruise missile attacks. Get in the bin PutinBot.
Slavia Ukraini and long live EUA.
Lots of HH posts lately so I assume this must be positive for Alba. Any views on how beneficial this could be?
I'd long given up on anything good coming from anything UKOG touches so I'm out of the loop by several years on this.
You forgot the option, neither it's just a lucrative NED position.
> EUA looks like it could be next.
Go on? What are the signs that you are seeing?
It is already private. The delisting RNS came out 30th Dec.
A take it or leave it price has been offered already at 115p. As you didn't take it, like myself, you are now a shareholder in a private company.
I'm not quite sure how corporate comms works from here - i.e. how we receive notices of AGMs etc.
Haha it was funny though.
I'd be very ok with 75p. In fact, even 50p per share in my bank account would be a bit of a relief now. Pre-war I was wanting 75p absolute minimum and hoping for up to £1.25 - but that seems impossible now.
So, what the report tells me is that the £35 per share valuation was a trifle optimistic?
Thanks for clarifying! I understand now. I've always been very confident, post-announcement, of the deal going ahead so I guess I let that affect my thinking.
> No Ricardo they are not even trying to say that
Ah good, because I thought that was rediculous.
> unless you are in possession of other information
Nope, I'm just a 'mug punter'.
> One of the Arc licenses on the Zambian Cadestre, is in the process of (application)having it's name changed to Anglo Exploration which to most people indicates a certain direction.
I thought I (and everyone) was already aware of this direction. But it is possible that I'm mixing two things up, and confusing this (new?) thing with the existing JV we all know about. Hope you can clarify one way or t'other?
So much implication there but not a lot said. Are they trying to say that as the JV exclusivity period ends during the conference then ARCM will sign up with another big player instead?
