Yeah that was my thought, with the pressure build up during shut in. Good to hear that the pump should make that irrelevant. Thanks TAC!
Good news! Can any oil well experts tell me, would the output be slightly higher in the short term due to the production halt, or would that be of no consequence?
So much BS.
On Dragon's Den they'd be saying "You've valued the company at £9.85m but it's not an investable proposition at this time because you've not currently got a profitable business model and you are making a loss. You need to refine the economics. So I'm out.".
> Ricardo, you might be missing the conservative gold price in the workings - today it is way above 1900 usd per ounce. You might also be missing what is a Ton , i.e more than a tonne - but I don't know what they have assumed.
Thanks Taverham - I'll re-read regarding the gold.
> Looks like we are going mining
I don't see that in the RNS. From the below paragraph we're still at the 'working it out' stage. Which is not in itself a bad stage to be at, it's important to do it, but we have more work to do before we can say that we're going mining IMHO.
"Larger deposits require significantly more capital expenditure and as such warrant considerable study and due diligence at an early stage of project development when optimisation can radically change a Project's fortunes. We are at this stage and with this in mind, the Company will continue with its studies working towards the ultimate mine and operating plan that provides the best scenario for development of the Bushranger resource."
> The market likes the RNS? What shows that? No trades since the RNS as far as I can see...
LSE shows 8.7% up. Though it seems that should be treated with suspicion as other feeds show -4.3478% down! I have not tried a dummy trade. Apologies for taking LSE at face value - I should know better by now.
Well the market likes the RNS. As an underwater LTH I would like to like it too but I can't see what's so good about it. 20mpta is a high volume and we need a 25% increase minimum in copper price. Or, we hit gold on followup tests of untested porphyry targets. What am I missing?
Cgmarmion - thank you. That's the best way - mentally write it off and then if it comes good then celebrate. Best of luck to you too!
> Sale announced by Xmas - Yes or No?
Not a hope in hell. But neither am I selling. I am 91.3% down. Been here since March 2021 (so a new boy compared to some). I will just hold on until the end, and hope for the best.
> the company assets are sold
> Good luck with that !
Made me laugh. But you got me thinking and.. [drum roll] I HAVE THE SOLUTION!!!!
These lawyers are smart people. They'll have realised that if the winding up petition works they'd have to sell the assets. So they've already got a plan. So, we pay the lawyers their bill and engage THEM to sell the assets. Everyone's a winner! All if need is MacaPacca to tell his KGB boss to turn a blind eye and we all get our cash.
Mac, you know full well that your idol wouldn't end the conflict voluntarily during a stalement. He wants a win or a frozen conflict - that's his playbook. He can't win at the moment, but a frozen conflict is a distinct possibility.
@Novice20: I can find it by searching for the case number.
The extra 'n' would be explained as an error. I'm be surprised if that makes the request invalid. But IANAL.
What's the link between the dispute over missing share certs (claimant: Queeld Investments Limited and Mispare Limited) and the winding up petition, if any? I.e. I'd expect there to be a judgement in the claimants favour in that matter first. I'm missing a puzzle piece.
That's the only factor that gives me some confidence that this might be a temporary hiccup.
DR reported for false and misleading information.
About a minute later - quoted 1.59p to buy.
If the buys are flooding in, how can I buy right now at 1.61p? That's less than when you said the buys were flooding in.
Don't believe the wolves.
@Carrot13 - No idea who you are but I see you were, like me, around in the days of the UKOG tanker hysteria. Then, also like me, you should know that on the balance of probabilities Pboo is right to say that "no news is usually bad news.". We've seen that proved many times with oilers.
But I live in hope...
Got 5m here. Still wish I'd piled in at 0.2 (I dipped my toe in then) and bought most of them later. But hindsight is a wonderful thing!
