Makeabundle and stretch, actually those comments are officially sanctioned and they are a long-used tactic from Putin's playbook. In Russia, while any actually dangerous opposition leaders are imprisoned on trumped up charges and/or murdered, some uncomfortable views are always allowed to be broadcast. We see this daily on the state controlled TV talk shows. The message here for the Russian public is, stick with strong leader Putin because he's the only one who can provide stabilty. Nonsense, of course but the message works on enough Russians to be effective.

Naturally, anyone who goes too far will be sedated with a needle to the neck, or even 'accidentally' fall out of a high window onto some bullets. Or perhaps be chopped up with an axe while swimming - nasty accident that.

Broker notes are always terrible at predicting future SP but they can contain interesting information. I assume they must still be basing that price prediction only on publicly currently available info from GGP - i.e. not including extended Telfer life, upgraded resources, etc?

When thinking about returns that you might see, don't forget to factor in the 30% Corporation Tax. I assume some expenditure will be tax deductable, but there will still be a big tax bill to pay (albeit on large profits).

Thanks for the comments Chris572 and jmolina. From your comments it seems the key question is for shares held in an ISA is, what was the market value of each share on the day they were moved out of an ISA?

The date may differ by broker perhaps, but I assume the market value per share would be the same for all of us.

Fair point, I did miss that from my list. And for that money I certainly wouldn't be rushing either. I still think it'd be technically possible using iWeb, for someone who is really hot stuff with their mouse skills. But it feels unlikely, I agree with you.

Using the iWeb platform I could get two trades off within 15 seconds I reckon. I'd only have to type in 'GGP,' select 'Buy' or 'Sell', type the value or number of shares, wait about 3 seconds for the quote and then accept it. 11 seconds might be a bit tight but I reckon that might be possible. To be more sure I'd have to log in and actually try a dummy trade. Using the AJBell app wouldn't be so quick though. 60 to 90 seconds seems extremely slow to me. What app/website are you using?

They aren't zero trades, they're fractional trades. Someone is buying 0.49999999 of a share every time which, when displayed on screen, is rounded down to 0. In 4000 years you'll see a TR1 from the buyer, mark my words.
