After the financial crisis, the price was 35p. How I wish I'd bought a shedload! Though I didn't know LGEN well back then and didn't have the cash anyway. And anyone investing at the bottom during a financial crisis has to have nerves of steel.

LGEN is a great company that I used to work for and now hold a large number of shares for the divi. Unfortunately, it's very UK focused (and increasingly so) for its profits. The UK economy is stalled, and isn't going to get moving in the next two years. Mark my words, we'll be close to this price in 2 years time. LGEN isn't going to do badly, but it's not going to be rocketing any time soon either.

You know, a quick social media fix before reluctantly dragging myself away. Nnapthman1, what you are saying is very clear. But you seem to think I'm questioning the necessity (or benefit) of having them, which I'm not. I'm asking so I can be better informed on GGP financials.

What? Of course it matters! Any cost impacts business performance. Now it may matter very little, I have no idea at this time. Hence the question.

How much are these options costing GGP? That's important because while we may be benefiting from all the revenue at the current price, there must be a cost of that which has to be considered. I suspect it's a fairly minor cost, but if we're going to talk Put Options let's have the full picture.

I've noticed over the years that posters on boards across LSE do have a strange aversion to using quotation marks. They are one of the most informative punctuation marks, IMHO.

I don't think it's a real 11.11% increase. Check the spread (the real spread not the inaccurate spread you see above). It's the MMs playing games.
