Nope, both sides said those things roughly 2-3 weeks ago - if not longer. That's old news, and frankly meaningless without other tangible progress and negotiations in good faith (which we all know Russia doesn't know the meaning of).

Q - future value of ARCM?

Remy - Look at NPV of Sentinel - $5bn+ for that asset. AA are looking for tier 1 asset. If AA hit the motherlode then you know we'd have 30% of ~$5bn+ tier 1 type NPV asset. He can't predict future value, but he'd certainly take on that sort of project.

Remember the adage, buy on rumour sell on news. That's how AIM works.

Q - Do ARC have to cover any drilling costs or other costs with JV?

Nick - No.

Q: Any further approvals (government) required?

Nick: I met with Minister of Mines recently, no futher gov approvals needed. They were delighted to hear of proposed transaction. Getting highest level attention we could have hoped for. High priority deal for gov. All part of transformation of Zambia to be Switzerland of mining. Gov has been extremely supportive and transparent [with ARCM]. In short, no issues anticipated.

Shareholder question: What will we do with the cash? Botswana?

Nick: Botswana is drill ready. Get going in next few weeks, have also been offered relatively modest but quite interesting other exploration opportunities in Zambia that we are looking at, needs cash but not in any significant way, need to digest this news first. Botswana is the most obvious for allocation of any cash.
