The US move was a sensible strategy, but I see that as defensive in nature for the company, and I think we need our UK assets to come good to see decent returns. So fingers crossed for Keddington.

As a LTH (a well under water one at that) I'd like to point out how all the bickering is tiresome and valueless.

The RNS was ok. Good news on the spud. BUT what I really wanted was some reassurrance and we didn't get that. It was all to vague which worries me. I get the point made elsewhere around things needing to settle down, and avoiding short-termism, but that won't fly foreever. With official production figures not looking good we need to hear more certainty from the Company. That we're still not getting it is not a good sign and I don't believe the management have delivered enough. On that basis I should sell, but I'm so underwater it would be fairly pointless, so I will hang in there.

Company names aside, gold is mentioned 3 times in the RNS.

My prediction is that we will never hear anything from SN or FRR. We'll see the liquidation notice in January and that'll be it.

It really depends on what gets signed. Based on progress to date then I see a solid 10p base as a minimum. People might think that sounds a little cautious but that's a 2025 price bearing in mind the state of the market now, not a 2015 price when AIM was awash with cash.

But there's potential for much, much more if the BoD can get multiple smaller deals, or a mega blow yer socks off deal, over the line.

By 30% divi I assume you mean 30% profit paid out? I've gone for 100% (post corp tax) so you'll have to just reduce my figure to 30% if you agree with the calcs.

Hi speedymeadie, they didn't share their gold price assumption or their calcs so it's impossible to do a direct comparison on their figures but I made it 5.4p per share PA at that price.

Gold per oz USD 5741

minus ASIC 800 USD

equals 4941 USD

equals 3873 GBP profit per oz

equals £999,234,000 per annum

minus 30% Corp Tax leave £699m, and divided by 13bn shares equals 0.054p per share per annum.

So using that slide, they're saying that from 2028 long term production should see pre-tax profits of 486m USD PA, which works out at 376m GBP (1:0.78 exchange rate). Assuming Corporation Tax at 30% that's £265m left which, if we assume is all paid out as dividend (not likely, I know) gives a dividend per year of 2p per share.

That's based on 258k oz annual production. Assumes all debt paid off.

Can anyone add to or pick holes in that?
