lets hope we are on the move. It would be as they say " not before time". it was on the move at certain stages in 2012,2013,2014,2015,2016 and please can we have a northward move which as in previous years does not retreat back. Companies with first in class drugs in my opinion should not see retreating sp at this stage of advanced development. In the early days I think we were carrying out in effectual trials before JAK,s arrival. JAK and team know what is required because they have the experience and know how according to their CV's on how to make a company grow but that needs to be reflected in the VALUE of the company and in tandem the rising SP.

My theory is also that I am sure that the directors when I last saw quoted held 1% of the total companies shares but that is now showing as 0.55 % on the Verona Website. Wudi can you confirm that by looking at any of the sites that you gleaned your last share info from. If I am correct then I can have a rough stab at what the shares will number on the nasdaq listing. I do feel that unless the board pull a rabbit out the hat in the next RNS re partnership or very positive news then in my opinion they will devalue devalue the holdings of all current shareholders totally unnecessarily. Like all I have everything crossed that SUBSTANTIAL POSITIVE NEWS is released before our Nasdaq listing

Piers Morgan the financial bloke either needs a ********** for getting the sums wrong and that has happened before as the shares not held by public should be closer to 72% which means the 41% quoted on the Verona Pharma new website is incorrect by a margin and totally misleading in my opinion. Alternatively the number of shares that to be issued on Nasdaq leaves the ii's with just 41% which indicates the size of the fund raiser. However I expected the shares to be issued once good news had been released raising the sp and therefore receiving larger funds from the nasdaq listing. I understand the need to limit certain info but at least issue the correct statements so that the intelligent followers of Verona Pharma have at least some faith that the company has a certain level of competence. I can expect incompetence in certain situations but not when directors and senior members of management get paid the salaries that they do. All in my honest opinion of course. On a positive I do like the new site and the breathtaking science caption. Better than science that will take your breathaway. All I can say to the vrp board is that you read this so please get the sums correct. I know we are at the bottom of the food chain, but many of us have supported you for over 6 years and have been given nothing to chee or r about so JAK when will significant shareholder value happen or was that for us mushrooms you know the say kept in the dark and fed on......................!!!

Our broker seems very quite as nothing from them for over a year now....... no recommendations since November 2015. Maybe new brokers when we go to Nasdaq. In my opinion it would be no big surprise. Often happens just before raising funds.

Care to expand on Piers Morgan being a very very clever man and possibility of us being taken to the laundry, why will you be on alert and what info warrants the statement, really appreciate your find/s being detailed for others perusal. My surprise was to see Claire Poll under Senior Management as it was my opinion that she had left the company and that she has only taking up the role as an advisor to the company. Mmmmmm if I remember her previous commensurate was approx. £220K per annum as Corporate Director and I wonder how much we are currently paying Claire as a member of senior management. I struggle to see the benefit to Verona Pharma. Just my opinion and hoping we are not turning into a " Bisto Train." Maybe it is just my perception.

Totally concur with your post and said timings. But having spoken to them before regarding a similar situation I would not be surprised if they just miscalculated what the ii's actually held but it is strange that it adds up to 4% which is the same as the current amount in question. The nomads should be pulled to task as it is very much their responsibility to check the accuracy of any figures released in rns and as you have pointed out something does not add up. Am I surprised................ not a jot.

Was the investment from the Wales life Science fund not one of the reasons behind us initially relocating to new offices in Wales. Did they not initially have someone on the board or have they relinquished that position some time ago. The original purchase price of the shares were 2.2p in the initial fundraising some time back. I wonder if they are selling only to re purchase at a lower price in the future. Or is the wales life science fund requiring an injection of cash??

By Wales Life Science Fund. Wonder if anymore ii's will follow suit. Lets us hope not. That is half of there holding and I wouldn't believe that they will have made much on that transaction bearing in mind that we are all hoping for great thinks to come.

If like I suspect that the options execised on the 28th of sept and oct where that of Kab then that by its very release would indeedclass her as a PDMR and by that virtue if correct then I would have expected an RNS informing us of her departure. Just my opinion though.

one of her last jobs co author for rns released re 2nd grant for funding CF trials. Where does that leave the trials and what info re CF has KAB taken to GSK. No likey no lighty. Lets hope the lights arn't going out. Question? If RPL554 was so good then as lead scientist would you not stay with the programme as that would enhance your cv. But KAB has decided to leave to major respiratory rival.

so just to clarify we currently have at Verona Pharma no director for project management bearing in mind that we are expecting trials re rpl554 for CF in early 2017 and we have no senior scientist currently. WOW cannot say that I am as relaxed about that as you are. Good luck and hope we find her replacement very soon. GSK have played a blinder as far as I can see as if nothing else this has slowed up our progress until we find a suitable replacement. In my opinion KAB has been recruited by GSK to see if any potential scientific value gleamed from rpl554 can indeed enhance their products. No worries???????????

KAB was indeed Director of project management for Verona Pharma and Senior scientist as quoted on her "linked in page" so I feel she carried a very weighty position and she was the contact name on all the trials previously conducted for RPL554 whilst in our employment. I feel her move to GSK whom is potentially one of two of our potential largest competitors in the respiratory field then on the contrary to your opinion I feel the BOD need to release an RNS as it could have a significant bearing on our investment going forward. Our director of project management just to clarify has been poached by a major player in the respiratory field and whom knows most if not all of our IP and you do not feel that warrants an RNS. Sorry to disagree but you have your opinion and if indeed KAB had gone to GSK for the reason you purport then our BOD have been very naïve in my opinion as that would certainly require some form of RNS to my knowledge.

Vikas Sinha was appointed as non executive finance director in September who works for Bayer and who JAK had formerly worked alongside at Bayer. Berish roy resigned in January but worked potentially for a further 6 months until a replacement as mentioned above could be found. Vikas sinha has Bayer links so KAB going to GSK does not fill me with huge confidence. However 69% of shares are held by ii and about 1% by directors etc of the company and therefore 30% held by us the private investors. THe ii,s have a much larger interest nearly double since the last fund raising. I still think the 2000000 will be that of berish roy as he would quite rightly be an ex employee but positive that he has chosen to exercise his option in my opinion if indeed my assumptions are correct. I had indeed forgotten that berish roy resigned in January. But that now makes it more likely to be correct and no rns further on that .

Not many have those amount of shares to be exercised. In fact I think only Berish Roy and JAK so as it stated former employee I am wondering if we will see an announcement to say that someone else like Berish Roy is no longer in the companies employ. I say this as he had 2000000 exercisable options at the end of 2015. Trouble is that one plus one is not always two.
