Past rns. Exercise of options 28th sept 2016 for 166 667shares and again on 28th of October 2016 exercise of options for 166 667 shares. Kathy Abbot Banner left and started for GSk in November so I presume both the above as both for the same amount where in fact her options being exercised. As that would fit in with the notice etc that she needed to give more than likely. Awaiting for Rns to see who in fact replaces KAB but in all honesty would have expected a suitable replacement to already be in situ especially with the cf trials early 2017. Will any trials be put back as we have no head of research and development currently. Slightly awkward position to be in currently. What has KAB found whilst researching RPL554 that she may not have passed on to VRP and has taken to GSK, just musing aloud and only my opinion. Lets hope that indeed all our IP has been suitably patented and indeed highlighted to be patented?? Will be happier when I see some RNS from VRP re all the above as potential theft of IP must be quite commonplace in many industries.

Yes it was just a former board member previous or otherwise taking up a share option of which they have several issued over the years.Would have been better to know who that person was. Now that may tell us indeed much more. I am sure someone will find out as we have a BB made up of curious and investigative minds. HNY jeddicat likewise and all the best to everyone. Still awaiting for rns re KAB and her replacement as who is at the helm conducting the trials for CF or have we suddenly procured a rudderless research and development team as of yet we APPEAR to have no one in charge and no replacement for KAB, remembering That I presume Kathleen had to give notice and that she left in November or before.Nor have I seen any post advertised in the requisite RandD journals re KAB vacant post at Verona Pharma. I will contact the NOMAD in the new year re the above as no joy with VRP. Perhaps one or two of the institutional investors would have some views on this, They certainly have not jumped ship yet so that is a small comfort. Do think that lack of transparency is damaging the share price potential.

I hope that VRP are monitoring any new GSK respiratory developments very closely and maybe it is just the old adage of " keep your friends close but your enemies even closer." Still reasonably happy as apparently no big sells from the ii's since KAB jumped ship. She was very experienced so I believe, strange that we could not retain her services like we have with other past employees or are we. An rns would have cleared this all up really.

Well the weather today is overcast and misty rain the sort that soaks you straight through as Peter Kay would say. Don't be as I am probably over committed on VRP shares in my portfolio so will do well irrespective of todays sell.But need to just cut it back and whilst the KAB news could be either way. I have just reset what I have invested slightly. Have a great Christmas and hope as you say it is a precursor. If it is I would have expected alot of big buys. Have seen none and the last trade of the day does not show as a buy on my screen. GLA.

Is that just an assumption or have you tried or spoken with someone at VRP. Difficult not to get such info when it is so readily available from social media etc. Is it an assumption that of which the companys intention possibly be re KAB

Yes excellent find. However what do you make of the news. I for one find it slightly disconcerting that the person that was heading up our research as far as I knew for 18 months is now working for GSK one of our biggest threats to our respiratory market. And this did not warrant an rns and an explanation followed by who KAB replacement is. Very Strange in my opinion and leaves me WONDERING. Appreciate anyone elses thoughts. I have tried to contact someone at VRP re above without success. If anyone has more success please let the board know. Izstar and all long term holders goodluck. I will certainly be raising the question at the AGM if I can make it which I certainly hope to if I do not get an rns beforehand with suitable explanation.

significantly oversubscribed so there is no reason why the next tranche should be less than the market price. If less than the market sp then I would question the people that are raising the funding. Their is no excuse for the offer to be lower than the sp. Includes manipulation of sp to look like they got a better deal. JAK has to get this right else we are over diluted and look week to the market with we we have to offer. I could get some Chinese friends to raise a few million at current sp if they saw proof that it was going to be a first in drug blockbuster . They must raise the sp through a deal or partnership before they dilute the company ridiculously. I am still hopeful like armyboy. Thelix yes I feel we need to keep hold and not jump the gun straight away.
