I’ve no issues with your disagreeing with my views. I’m not going to start hurling insults at you like others seem to think is ok to do on here.

My views aren’t based on what I think and know of JB. I see what you mean about nothing to lose though, as I was referring to his professional reputation. This, as with Colin, will follow him around for years to come. I also agree that the shareholders are the biggest losers.

My personal preference is that we go down the litigation route, as Slovenia clearly don’t want us there.

I’d rather have him at the helm than CH. Unless you can think of someone that can take over from him now and turn this around.

Different CEO. CH and his cronies lacked integrity. JB comes across as someone with more integrity. He has a lot to lose if this doesn’t go well and was willing to actually cut costs, which CH wasn’t. See how this plays out in the next few months.

Think we’re all over the director sells before Xmas now! We now have a free run for another 18 months. Let’s get on with it and get to £4+ this year! The build up to the 14th jan should be interesting.... :-)

Litigation has been threatened numerous times, with the threat of it considered good enough to sway a decision by Slovenia.

The rns now states the following... the company “continues to have positive discussions with parties interested in providing non-recourse litigation funding to advance this claim.“ if this is to be believed then it looks like we’re waiting for the outcome of the appeal (and it not to be in our favour) to push the button.

Agree jester. All the ducks are lined up now and they are just waiting for the outcome of the appeal. Hopefully we get an outcome soon either way.

Litigation has been for quite a while the only option to retrieve our spend in Slovenia / asset value. We have been spun a yarn for years now when the Slovenians had no intention of working with us. Our so called ambassador hasn’t helped either. A number of us have suggested to JB that this is the only approach we should be taking instead of just threatening it. This option would work out the most cost effective for investors as it would be funded on a no win no fee basis.

We will see how this plays out now.

I would have to disagree with you alwaysup. I spoke to colin numerous times and yes he did take my calls and respond to my emails. Colin was always out for himself. He regularly asked for investor views but then just did what he wanted. Acted like an immature child when I said he should be paid for what he was actually delivering and responded by saying that shareholders wanted him to work for free. He was very arrogant and knew there was nothing shareholders could do, as our approach was very disjointed (I.e. investor group, egm, etc). The rest of the BoD if were just as bad - clive carver turning up late for meetings and looking like he’d slept on the street. Too busy conning some other poor souls. Cameron Davies couldn’t even read the number of votes against various resolutions and was asked to read percentages to make it easy on him. He was the chair at the time! Then there was Nigel Moore who I met a number of times and came across at totally incompetent and it was as if they’d dragged him out of an old people’s home and put him in a suit just for the occasion. He was shocked when I told him how much i had invested in ast, which I found very unsettling, as they were meant to be selling the investment to us! So in conclusion... I know the previous BoD a lot better than a lot of the posters on here and can quite easily justify my negative views of them as I’ve met and communicated with them multiple times over the last few years. There is so much more I could say and I could quite easily share some of the emails I’ve exchanged with them where they have openly lied about what’s going on in the company but that is irrelevant now as they’ve all gone.

There are a number of people on this bb that are content to hide behind their alias and throw insults around. They need to realise that the people posting on here are not shorter but are just calling out the unsavoury behaviour of previous members of the BoD.

I still hope JB will turn this company around, so here’s to 2020!

Throughout my time being invested in Ascent (since mid 2016), Colin and clive were always looking to dilute the number of shares in circulation further to suit their own agenda. They tried to fix a vote last year which prevented them from diluting further and then on the back of the supposed outcome of a SR conned investors into allowing them to dilute further, knowing full well that the SR wasn’t going anywhere. They did this by saying that there was more chance of a company investing in them (JV) or a takeover if they were allowed to dilute. They lied to investors about the stuck tool and how well the company was doing and then dropped the bombshell on a Monday which caused the sp to drop significantly. On the Thursday of the same week they released another rns which causes the sp to shoot back up to where it had previously been..... all this without JL....

So in response to your previous message TPT I think those 2 deserve all the comments that are being posted about them. There are lots of things that could have been done properly if colin and clive has chosen to do so. It would be a different matter if it was their own money invested.

Colin and clive were conmen through and through. Just moved onto their next con but I’m sure we’ll all make them feel welcome in their new home.

I’m still hoping that JB will turn this around next year. All or nothing at this stage.

Not a bad rise for Boohoo this year. We finally seem to be back on track. It’s a shame we couldn’t get to £3 for Xmas (we may still!), but at least we know it’s possible now having surpassed it a few weeks ago and more with all the recent broker ratings!

Still very much bullish on Boohoo and looking forward to the next lot of results and the ones after. As a LTH, I’m hoping JL gets to his target price sooner than expected and we don’t have to wait until 2022 to buy the remaining share of PLT.

And yes I am still a holder of these little beauties! Unfortunately another one of those people who is over 90% down. But hey it was my own fault. I shouldn’t have brought into the lies we were told over the years by the previous BoD to string this out.

Before Xmas would be great putting us in good stead for the results.
